While we do have "sensational" moments during worship which may wind up as "christian idol" anthems, we still have to look at the fact that if God does move through this song then it's furthering God's kingdom.

Not a bad week here. Really started riding my bike more. Here in Nashvegas we're having weird low humidity and lower afternoon highs. It makes for amazing running, cycling, or name-your-favorite-outdoor-activity weather.

Hardest thing: Been pretty tired, but I just need to go to bed earlier. Another hard part has been not seeing as rapid results as I wanted to. However, I know that with a little more time then I'll be solid so it's cool.

We've been doing a lot of short choruses as tags to the end of songs. Very similar to Hillsong stuff. This weekend I'm totally fired up about From the Inside Out>A Reprise>Mighty to Save. A Reprise should be AWESOME. All Hillsong.

Total mancrush on Jim Bloodgood...drummer for Sara Evans and on a regular rotation at Crosspoint. If I'm playing percussion on a Sunday when he's on kit I stare mezmarized by his chops.

One Sunday I was on kit and he complimented my playing after the service. That day will always live in infamy.

This is such a great idea. Way to go everyone who is taking part of this.

I'm so fired up that you were able to hang, chill and reenergize with your folks.

I take it for granted that my family lives where I do. I need to remember that some people have to travel thousands of miles to get back "home."

This kind of stuff makes me embarrassed to be a southerner.

For such a wonderful region of our country we sure know how to screw it up by ignorance.
