Met de juiste filters kun je ervoor zorgen dat e-mail redelijk gesorteerd binnenkomt. Veel verdwijnt ongeopend omdat ik aan de aanhef of de afzender al zie dat ikhet niet hoef te lezen. Ik ben enthousiast over het spamfilter van Gmail en verder gebruik ik meerdere e-mail adressen waarvan ik sommige maar aan bepaalde mensen beschikbaar stel. Wat daarop binnenkomt heeft altijd voorrang. Ook kan ik mail openen wanneer het mij uitkomt. Heb je wel eens geprobeerd om een stroom twitterberichten van een paar dagen geleden alsnog te volgen? Da's gewoon niet te doen!
Dus zie ik Twitter niet als vervanging voor e-mail.

Tja, verschil is wel dat je van mail zeker weet dat de ander het onder ogen krijgt. Ik weet niet hoeveel -voor mij wellicht interessante- twitter berichten ik de afgelopen 3 weken ben misgelopen vanwege de vakantie. Aan de andere kant wil je niet weten hoeveel (voor mij) overbodige twitter berichten ik dagelijks langs zie komen!

Windows live edu offers more than Google does, but we're still waiting for rollout in Holland. Google mostly offers it's service worldwide when it's released.
