Good posting. It's all about positive attitude. And putting in the hours of practice time.
I used to think it was all about "inate talent" and so I used to tell people I sucked at guitar. But now my view is "I am continuing to improve." Which is much more positive. Because I've practiced more, I also suck less.
My view is that many hours of practice will ultimately yield great results *in any endeavor*.
