Gary, you nailed it.

The old saying, "Character is what you do when no one is watching" can now be truncated to: "Character is what you do", because, well, everyone is watching.

With this new found x-ray vision into character, keep in mind that while both good and bad are exposed, bad can use our once private lives as leverage against us. Don't forget about civil liberties!

#4 Hoffman's Rapleaf App does something like this...across multiple platforms.

#6 FB should just enable the porting of status across the services you mentioned.

you can ask people to come to your content, or you can bring your content to people. I'm not saying the way FB is playing is the right way, but - they do have your friends neatly aggregated.

Where are the other places that allow this that are also open?

Brad Inman, founder of Inman News, is a serial web entrepreneur. In addition to the real estate news service and conferences they run, Brad founded homegain.com which sold to Classified Ventures last year. He's in the video space now with a really cool business: turnhere.com, where he has local videographers record their communities and get paid.

I think there is a recent interview on beet.tv with him. If you guys haven't met yet you really should. I had a chance to work with Brad back in the first bubble..good times...good times...

I agree Robert. I like to think of myself as an active listener. Following is more relevant than Followers if you want to discover. The problem I had just now, was deciding where I should post a response to your post. This blog, Twitter, FF, other? Settled on the blog until we find something that follows the conversation around where ever it may be found.
