I have only been around since may. My blog documents what I have learned to increase the ranking on google of one of my websites in a very competitive arena. I was zeroed out on RSS subscribers until last week when my blog was featured on a video by WebProNews.com. Now I have 30 subscribers and about 70 visitors a day. Still very very low but it is a start. I think one thing that is very important at this point is not to get discouraged and quit but press on. I am at a point where many bloggers quit... that six month period with no income and low visitor rate. I have a feeling if I continue to blog daily with constructive content that eventually the blog will pop out. Patience is the key.....

Re: There Absolutely Is A Secret Formula To Making Money Online

Ok Jim...... you got my attention.....haha. What are the other 9 secret formulas? Seriously, I think we all have our formulas, but no one really wants to let loose of them. I think the biggest formula is one no one likes:

Hard work and patience equals income.

Sounds kind of trivial doesn't it? But it is true. Too many people are looking for that quick fix. If there was one, we would all be rich eh.

Re: Innovation Happens When You Solve A Problem In A Unique Way

You know this may sound really really simple but I haven't seen it before. I placed a 125x125 banner at xfep.com. What was different is that I designed the banner to be a circle instead of a square and it does stand out. I have made several circular banners for clients and they have all had good results with them.

Sometimes simplicity is the answer to standing out. What do you think.

Re: We’re On Fire

 HOLY COW UDDERS Batman..... When I first started research SEO back in April I purchase quite a few e-books and the majority of them were crap. They were just compilations of what could be found for free just by reading the majority of the blogs in "make money online"niche. The only one that was really worth anything to me was Aaron Walls SEOBook and I still use it today. I did purchase one about Article Marketing from Josh Spaulding that was very informative. The other seven basically were a rip off.

If I ever decide to turn what I learned into an e-book it will be free.

Eric Dytzel aka NoviceSEO
Madisonville KY

Re: What Do You Think About Aaron Wall's SEO Book?

I purchased the SEO Book early in 2007 as I started trying to learn the in's and out's of SEO for a personal website. I found it to be a very good all in one summary of SEO tools and techniques. Was it worth the money? Absolutely.

Using Aaron's book I was able to take my website from 600 to 14 in approximately 100 days on Google. In fact that post caught the attention of WebProNews and they did an interview with me, Aaron Wall and John Chow on how to get a blog or site to move up.

You can view my video on this subject if you visit my blog. I referenced Aaron's book quite a few times as well as others that I have learned from on the web.

Also, when I had a question about something in the book I would email Aaron and every time he responded. Now that I look back, some of the info is very basic but there is a lot of info that is not really mainstream that can be a tremendous help.

I highly recommend anyone wanted to undertake an SEO project on their own to purchase this ebook.

Re: Online Money Scams

Amen brother.
