in My View: Expect Obama to work for the common good on Gloucester Daily Times
Obama hasn't done one thing yet, either in the last month, or in his political career. People are falling at his feet like he is the second coming.
Massachusetts is a disaster and has been run by democrats for decades, Finneran, DiMasi, Birmingham, Bulger, etc. Tax and spend and then kick you, and tax and spend some more. Now Deval is on the hill and he hasn't done a damn thing, nor does he have the political might to get anything done.
Obama is an empty suit as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't have one shred of experience. My goodness, Sarah Palin is responsible for 29,000 employees, a multi-billion dollar budget and some of the most critical energy infrastructure on US soil, not to mention being Comm-in-Chief of thousands of Guard troops, many of whom have been deployed overseas.
We don't need a celebrity, we need concrete leadership and experience. He has none, not one major bill, not one hearing, not one day of Executive leadership, not one breath of military service, not one ounce of risk or crisis or stretching beyond his means on a national level.
Any hiring manager who looked at Sarah Palin's resume and Obama's resume with names, gender and age removed, (not sticking up for Palin politically) would pick Palin every time. If you don't agree, you've never managed people or don't know what you are talking about.
I wish Obama the best, but it's the liberal progressive movement that's created a "celebrity" that is the reason for his ascent, nothing more. Obama supporters side-step the experience argument every time, but you lose on it, period.
Pull your heads out and see the agenda here for what it really is. Change is a word which can be a noun and a verb. So far Obama is a whole lot of noun and zero verb.

It's a little late for the "Nobama" slogan. He won the election.

You forgot to mention John Tierney's 700 Billion dollar betrayal of the public trust. He gave shiploads of cash to his banker friends. He knew they would just keep it for themselves while he told us that if we gave it to them they would lend it to us.
The reason you people do not take notice of this is because John Tierney is the MASTER of MASS DECEPTION!!!
HA HA SUCKERS!!!

I was going to vote for McCain but when he picked Palin as his running mate "forget About it" I liked her on SNL but in the White House, and having to take over if McCain got ill or died.....no way.I have always liked Joe Biden and have no doubt he could run the country.
