Companies like Infinite Dreams make all these gorgeous looking games for the Symbian OS, and with the introduction of the new n-gage platform in November on many s60 v3 n-series smartphones, Nokia seems pretty strong on gaming. One of their announced n-gage games even has nintendo wii like motion sensing, using the phone's camera to detect motion.
