in How to save the Zune on last100
The Zune just needs to do something more amazing. I have a Zune 30, and it works well for me.

I would agree about making special limited-edition versions of "well-known" artists. And it seems as if the Zune will do the special artist/theme packages via Zune Social, in some sort of advertising promotion like way.

A separate Zune retail store (or a Microsoft store for that matter) would help getting a central place for all things Zune.

Live Maps is definitely better than Google Maps now!

in TED intro of WorldWide Telescope is now up on Scobleizer
This looks far more cooler than Google Sky. And far more simpler to use as well. It also doesn't lag like GEarth, and doesn't look cruddy as well.

I also like the idea of making your own universe 'tours'. Nice extension of Silverlight.

This is one of the truly innovative things at MS, and it's going to be beneficial for a lot of people, including scientists. At least far more than Google Sky.

And a better alternative to Google Sky is Stellarium. ( http://www.stellarium.org/ )

in What made me cry: Microsoft’s World Wide Telescope on Scobleizer
@Tim Lee : Live Hotmail - Gmail

Microsoft Office - Google Docs

Windows Media Center - Apple TV

Live Maps Traffic Feature - Google Maps Traffic Feature

Live Messenger - Google Talk

IE - Safari

Keyhole - Google Earth

Where2 - Google Maps

So much for innovation there.

But seriously, this will be great. Some of the WinLive stuff Microsoft has is actually better than Google, and I can't wait to see this WWT.

Oh, and the Zune for the most part beats the iPod Classics and all the other iPods below the Classic level.

in Love for MacBookAir grows on Scobleizer
I got a smile the first time I picked up a Vaio. Since then, Apple has pretty much copied some of their features with an Apple twist.

Problem is, people are so narrow-minded, thinking Apple computers are the only quality sold computers left.

in Get Zune Marketplace - anywhere? on Mobilitysite
Hey, I'm the official owner of that blog.

I caught this site off of my statistics reader.

I should tell you that Zune Marketplace Anywhere is not real as far as anyone knows. It was just meant to be a what-if scenario post. A make-believe post.

In my haste, I forgot to add the disclaimer that it wasn't real.

I'm sorry, but please do not consider this as something real.

in Microsoft’s Internet TV strategy: today and in the future on last100
I don't go on any of those except Joost and youtube.com, and sometimes justin.tv. It seems kind of silly to me.

This sounds so awesome. Microsoft is going to revolutionize our digital entertainment ways. I can't wait until more IPTV comes out.

@Jeremy: But people do buy DRM music through a DRM store. It's called iTunes.

in DLO Power Pack for Zune on ZuneSphere
I have the DLO Power Pack! I bought it at Best Buy along with my Zune, and I love it! It works great and give my Zune the extra juice it needs. The only thing I don't like is the USB cable. The big end of it, doesn't come out of the Zune real well, and you have to give it an extra little tug. I don't know if it's just only my Zune or USB, but it might be with all Power Packs. Otherwise than that, it's perfect!

in Microsoft’s search a lot better than it used to be on Scobleizer
i think live search is better than google. i would probaly only use google for like very tough searches, where you need a lot of results. but if i go to common everyday sites, then i probaly don't need google to list millions of sites that i would probaly not care about. i've also heard that google spies on what you search and do on the internet. and i kind of don't trust a company that would do that. i also like the suggested searches that they give along side your search, in case you want to be more specific. i know use live search all the time because i find it more convenient.
