I think my class had the unity when it was against the teachers. Nearly all of us entered the headmaster's room and got one of the teacher to aplogise to us all openly. 2 years later, we got him and another teacher sacked form the school, albeit indirectly.

You can always opt for working in HK in the future after graduating from the States?

Malaysia is on the verge of changing, it takes time. The USA took more than 200 years to reach the democracy system that we see today and the UK took even longer to reach the current state of affair. Despite so, the thing in common is that there's press freedom and there isn't any form of protection towards the ministers.

Malaysia will need to achieve that before any imbeciles will be voted into the parliament.

This is what you call double standard and also the breach of the preach from the "higher" authority of the country.

Just hope that a positive change can be fulfilled by preventing the 2/3 in the coming GE. At least there will be 2 schools of corrupted thoughts instead of 1 up there.

You still have to buy the metro tickets and validate it before each journey in Vienna. There will be conductors going around to check for fare dodgers. I bumped into a few when I was there.

Song Jun, VT is on many newspaper in the UK. Headlines on most of the free papers in London ( I was there then) and Metro has it as it's headlines too.

newspaper had always been a propaganda media for the political parties worldwide. Just looked at the current French presidential election, most newspaper in France eg Le Monde. Supports Sarkozy while the left wing Liberation goes all out for Royal. It's the same in the UK, nearly all papers are inclined to a certain party.

The problem with Malaysia is that the media is controlled by one party. The opposition do not have the financial ability to get hold of any of them.

I am not supporting the current pathetic press freedom in Malaysia, but it's happening everywhere. Malaysia will need many more years before a strong opposition party will arise.

Oh enough, you just made me wonder why have I not been shooting the newspaper in my blog for quite sometime now =/ *pondering*

marketing gimmicks. They will need to up the blades one by one so people will have new stuff to buy. Besides, if they go for a super twenty blades shaver, I bet we would need to be a millionaire just to have a shave.

This post is very educational for me as I had never realised the train was the main transport into Singapore from Malaysia and vice versa. I only knew that KTM is way too slow (12 hours from KL to Singapore if I am not mistaken) and it bypasses my hometown as the track here was taken by the Japanese to be used for the Death Railway(can't remember the exact name for it) in Burma.
