Good review! Reflow of PDF is a must! But, even then, sometimes badly formatted PDFs ruin the whole experience. Hopefully ePub will catch on.

I haven't gotten any Kindle or Sony ebooks, but have some with eReader. I agree on price though. The reason I haven't bought more ebooks is because of the pricing. Why would I pay that much for a DRM laden file that I can't pass around or even resell? When compared with buying the physical book at around the same price, I can give it away after I am done or I can resell it on Ebay or I can stuff it in a box and come back to it in 10 years without worry.
I do like the idea of getting the ebook free if you buy the physical book. That would allow me to read it however I want -- curled up in bed with the real book or reading the ebook on my phone while waiting to pay for groceries.

in the desire to connect with others on cine + octo = boo
yikes. i don't know if i'd feel creeped out in that situation or just sad for the guy. there are somethings, i think most people know, that shouldn't be shared publicly with people you don't know. ah well, "most people know".

so, yea LOST is back on track. great premiere, too bad this is a short season.
i think that the oceanic six got off the island and now want to get back in order to save those they were forced to leave behind -- kind of like "let the strong leave, they will come back to get us later".
so here's some questions:
why did hurley lie about ana lucia?
why is the voice different between george and the "george" that kate talked to?
what happened to locke's bullet wound??

1) i think sometime in the fifth season, the island time will catch up with the flash forwards. then they rid the show of any flashes for the last season.
2) i believe the person in the coffin is part of the six. i think the six will be: jack, kate, hugo, sayid, sawyer, and sun. here's my reasoning: jack, hugo and sun are "damaged" by the island (lives completely messed up). balancing that out, kate, sawyer and sayid are just fine -- kate and sawyer are together (he is the one she's returning to when at the end of the third season).
3) locke will never leave the island.

i caught the 8 minutes, 15 seconds as a free download from itunes. it is great -- actually, it helped me remember a whole bunch of stuff i had forgotten! ha.

in iPhone homebrew prep continues on cine + octo = boo
while i kinda have my doubts about the rumors (i am still miffed about the previous 1.1.3 rumor about disk access mode), these are some cool features that are listed. and they all seem very reasonable for apple to implement because of the upcoming sdk.
