in Big Hollywood (Conservative Blog) Defends Adam Lambert’s Silence on ETC: Everyday Thoughts Collected
Thumbs Up! The gay community probably did him a disservice though as they made him a "Gay Idol" rather than an "American Idol" most people dont like polarizing figures. and in a culture coming out of the Miss America controversy with a bad taste in their mouths, I cant help but think that making Adam Lambert a gay icon to further a political agenda hurt him more than anything else. hopefully, his talent will get him where he wants. (Though I must admit, I did favor Chris Allen.)

Hi Frank. That is a very good point to bring up. But in general, I see a big rise in people orbiting around polarizing figures. Is there a difference between entertainment and the pundit circuit/media/blogs?

in The Gay Mafia That’s Redefining Liberal Politics - TIME article on ETC: Everyday Thoughts Collected
today's world is a marketplace of ideas. everyone is out selling theirs and the ones with more money have better commercials. thats how this is being fought. thats why Obama has a half hour of prime time and there are various commercials for "No on Eight." as my mom (God bless her,) says "Money Talks and B.S. Walks" either you have great ideas that can speak to people, or you spend your money trying to blind consumers with pretty lights.

Your mother sounds like a wise woman. That's true for both sides of the "culture war."

in Hannity’s America to Uncover Obama’s “Radical” Past - Is This Appropriate? on ETC: Everyday Thoughts Collected
Bad company corrupts good character. The man can give a speech for sure... but his relations are shady at best. when obama sits in a church for years with a man that preaches black supremacy from the pulpit... I can only assume an Obama administration will further increase the race divide in america. what does it mean for obama to launch his career in the livingroom of a known terrorist? does he hold the "any means necessary" ideology of terrorists? does he see "one death as a tragedy but a million deaths as a statistic?" keep in mind that hes been in the senate for two years and now he might be president. there is alot we still dont know about him... alot of skeletons. there is a saying in spanish that goes: better the enemy you know than the ally you dont... we dont know obama.
