Love the Dan Brown portion. I read the book, and liked the way he wove faith into the science aspect and made it all work. Can't understand why some people can't seem to attribute the Big Bang to God-- as if it's impossible to attribute it to a higher being?

Faith is believing that which cannot be proven scientifically. You can't measure love, or compassion or truth or beauty, yet these things exist. We understand the source of all these good things to be God, because we're Christian, and we know God exists because we can feel His presence in the tiny miracles of our lives, and how all these blessings (life, health, sanity, etc) continue to be provided for us.

Nice post and a good reminder to those of us who've left school far far behind.. . Although I don't know how many bloggers will willingly implement this, seeing how many choose to blog using txtspeak. :O God bless.

Cool! Thanks for sharing. I always get the "vs." and the "a.m./p.m." wrong.

Offtopic: I was once stuck in the Butuan city bus terminal for 13 hours in 1993. I was en route to Mangagoy, Bislig where I was assigned to teach English to college students for a year. :D

Wonderful post.

Teachers definitely don't do their jobs for money. It's a true generosity of heart and spirit that motivates them to give of themselves to students. And you're right. They do love their students. Which is why sometimes they have to show "tough love" to the more difficult students, in the hopes that the student may one day learn his or her own lessons.

I like your new theme by the way. Never really warmed up to that seaside graphic in the earlier theme.

Personal blogger here. Why? Because I would much rather express my personal opinions in this manner rather than as an expert in a field , which is how other blogs are starting to become. My blog is my opinion --and it changes from time to time.

Why relinquish your "large" focus by picking one niche? Why not include the details of your life but make it more universal so that it can be relevant to all? Personal blogging won't die. It may not make the big bucks though if that' s what worries ya.
