in Hints About The Future of Rendition Policy from Obama on The Washington Independent
I don't know -- this is slippery slope stuff. When governments start from a willingness to bend the limits of law, including international law, they usually end up abusive. "Trust my guys; they are the good guys," doesn't seem an adequate policy.

This is a very important, and probably slightly brave, article. Thank you.

in Rick Warren is a major fail and a total affront on AMERICAblog
With you on this one, and I worked for him too. For months. Forget thinking Obama gives a damn about anyone but his image of himself as some kind of post-partisan gift from God to the American people.

in Obama’s Alternative Red State Universe on The Washington Independent
Does local TV also cover the Obama policy content in these appearances? If so, he may actually be getting underneath and around the national sleaze gambit from the McCain campaign. Print media alone won't do it.

Also, how does local media cover the McCain/Palin local show? Are they getting substantive coverage or are they just doing the national sleaze jig in front of swing state backdrops?
