in Truth-Stretching a New Tactic for Palin on The Washington Independent
Truth stretching? If she doesn't just make up an answer (like Biden) she is accused of avoiding the question, if she does answer with something the Lib's don't like, it is truth stretching.

Here is some more "truth stretching":

This quote is from an article written in.....are you ready? 1999.

"In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of [sub-prime] lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980's." --New York Times, 1999

in Fox News Racism Says Powell Will Endorse Obama on The Washington Independent
Wow. And I thought I had found an independent site, I guess not.

Why shouldn't fox assume Powell is going to vote for Osama, er Obama, when he his getting 90% of the black vote. But I'm sure that isn't because of his skin color right?

"..never in a million years be written about a white politician." Hmmm, I wonder what MSNBC etc would be claiming if a white politician went to a dance where the theme was 'white pride'? Oh that's right, according to the whiney lib's whites are racists if they espouse such pride (or point out the obvious, as in this case or don't faint when the messiah speaks or [fill in the blank]).

This site claims to be Independent? Get a clue, no real independent would ever quote MSNBC as a source of anything other Liberal drivel. FOX and CNN at least attempt to stay on center (with their news anchors of course, not the commentators, but MSNBC hasn't this line, period).
