The problem is the videos end up looking kind of fuzzy and low resolution. I even paid for the upgraded, long playing video. It kind of disapointed me. I'll just stick with Adobe Premiere Pro.

I have been using Ally Bank for 3+ months now and have had no complaints. Everyone I have spoken to within customer service has been very polite and easy to understand. I have not had a problem to speak of so I can not comment on their conflict resolution... but that is not a bad thing not to be able to rate. Only downside I have experienced is that my interest rate has dropped by a point so far, but most banks promoting the online savings accounts have done the same. I wouldn't worry about GM's financial woes, accounts are FDIC insured.

Its necessary to pay them on a level comparable to what they could make elsewhere. The most basic of economic concepts is that of oppurtunity cost. Who cares how much they make 1-2m or 30m or 100m, so long as they responsibly sheppard a comparable level of growth of the money they manage. When you stop doing this, you lose your top people to the market, as Harvard did with J.M. just a few years ago. Perhaps if we had continued to invest in these top people, we would not have seen the losses we recently have. Not to say that HMC's current management hasn't handled the endowment well, but you have to wonder if they could have done better if they had been given more incentive.

Apple has been known to "fluff" numbers and 300M seems a bit high per some envelope math. Assuming 15M unique "devices" (iphone/itouch) in the wild and an 80/20 rule (80% of DLs by 20% of users) this would imply heavy users have downloaded (again downloaded, not including preinstalled ones) 80 apps per device. Bump the devices # to 25M its still 50 per device. Still a bit high and generous given that some of the 2G phones were cannibalized with the 3G release. Just a thought.

not the 300M number is wrong, it just might include other stuff. For example, do carriers "download" apps to pre-install? (maybe but not likely). Are updates/new versions counted as a whole app? (unclear but I wouldn't put it past them). And so on.
This is all not to say the iphone isn't wildly successful; it just might be the case that 300M is bit more marketing fodder than not (hey 100M true DLs would make eyes pop too)

To be honest, I have no creativity and inspiration like Pizero to create any of outstanding and attractive themes. Moreover, I do not have motivation to do it either. I adore and appreciate Pizero's contribution on producing stunning themes, but you have to be honest in making a comment. In short, you have to avoid misconception from what I meant in my matter.

Sorry to use an offensive word, but Moee mistakenly complained about something else. I never said that none of his brilliant themes are no good. I saw many of his themes in the past and most of them are awesome. Try to correct your understanding on this.

Silver and gold themes are my most favorite themes and I praised him up fully according to his hard work and contribution. You have to discriminate the state of being honest and sympathetic as a conflict leads to a bias on a comment. It would be pointless to open a blog for merely an appraisal rather than a true comment from user's heart. In particular, I just mentioned about this theme. Diversity is all round us, including human being.

TO be honest, I agree with guys in here with reference to the icon pack. I would say the icon pack does not match the premier quality of your wallpaper. Please consider using the fabulous "Flahorn" icon pack. This is similar to a default icon pack with a modification and appearance to revive those old-looking default icons. It looks really grand and elegant. It would bring up your standard of themes undoubtedly.

I think Alison is going to win, although I may be biased because I also *want* her to win! My reasoning is that I think Kirsten doesn't have that much weight left to lose, and will be building muscle now (unless she pulls a Chris and starves herself), so I think Alison will end up with a greater result than her, as Alison has more to lose, particularly around her thighs and midsection. Sam, I think, will suffer from being outside of the house and away from having his nutrition provided for. I also get the feeling that he doesn't want to win the title as much as the other two. Even though Alison has her family to distract her, I think that ultimately they will moreso be a support and great motivation for her. Hopefully. ;)

Having never actually paid for a "featured listing" I cannot speak from experience, but I agree and disagree. I agree that featured listing add no value to the buyer, but being on top of the results list must have a significant advantage. Google yields thousands or millions or results and it's the ones on top that get the most traffic.

I do like the idea of the revolving system but don't necessarily think that it is Trulia's or Zillow's obligation to be "fair". Perhaps this argument could be made for http://R.com since it is supposedly supporting its members.

I am truly sorry to have to say this, as this kind of negativity is painful for us all. But we have to look at it for what it is: I suspect that part of the reason (perhaps the entire reason) that people are doing such negative things, and that McCain is going negative is: to provoke Obama into going negative.

For Obama to go negative is a "third rail", something that either must be avoided at all costs, or something that must be approached with extreme caution.

Obama has had some version of this conundrum throughout his long campaign. Still, he must be very careful: if he responds to McCain by going negative, and there is even a hint of "the angry black man", many white voters (unfortunately) will be turned off, at least to the point where they'll stay at home November 4. This may be true for many female voters as well.

On the other hand, Obama shouldn't sit back passively and get hammered by the negative ads. He must respond, but just HOW to respond is a delicate question indeed.

It's the same with the terrible racial slurs. McCain and Palin want as much hate as possible to come to the surface. They believe that it's to their advantage to have "us versus them" thinking.

Of course, I'm not saying McCain is behind every jerk who mouths off racial slurs, but in all seriousness, the more NEGATIVITY that's out there, the more McCain stands to benefit.

Obama has handled such negativity with great character. I admire him all the more for this.

As we watch Sarah Palin in the role of attack dog, I am absolutely convinced that she will perform this role with astonishing, black-belt competence. Why? Because she is so filled with anger. She has no interest in matters of policy, as we all know. But she has plenty of interest in every little detail of the vicious political attack.

She won't be shooting any polar bears, at least not until after November 4, but she is loaded for bear.

I am afraid that Obama, who handled Hillary's attacks well, may be making a big mistake if he underestimates the effectiveness of Sarah Palin as attack dog.

Finally, Palin has found her groove! I'm afraid that we probably ain't seen nothing yet. I am seriously worried that Obama may have a more difficult month ahead than any of us suspects.

This is bizarre. I think there is an individual right to bear arms, but the Supreme Court for 220 years didn't agree. Then in DC v Heller the Supreme Court changed its mind, but DC v. Heller didn't incorporate the 2nd Amendment against the states. So the Second Circuit merely applied precedent. To do otherwise would be to legislate from the bench, which I thought conservatives were against.

The only bug this theme has is the unchanged e-mail icon when new mail is updated after connecting to a mailbox. Some other themes like Red Glass from udeste, does have a reddish icon rather than a plain normal icon when new e-mail is received.

Seriously....tell me....100's, 1,000's of communities across America seem to be able to maintain their fire departments through their own taxes, fund raisers, pledge drives, etc.. Why can't you? Why do you have to steal money out of my pocket to pay for something you should have funded on your own.

Don't get this Stimulus garbage confused. This is not about what is "needed" or "good". Nobody debates the importance of Fire Deparments...so stop all the bleeding heart arguments. Simply explain to me why the rest of the country should pay for this? How will this help the economy in my community? How will this do anyting for anybody other than the people of Muncie that apparently don't know how to care for themselves?

You actually should be embaressed to have to beg for money for something that your city officials should have been able to do on their own.

I really don't get why people think closing down Chinese schools or Tamil schools will solve our problems, as if getting rid of those schools will result in national unity. For people who care about national unity, they should focus on making national schools more "integrated". Teach Mandarin as a second language, and teach it better than the Chinese schools, and Chinese schools will cease to exist. No need to close them down.

Or maybe just have policies that will encourage Chinese emigrate from the country, once the population dwindles, those schools will lose support. Don't think the government is not actively trying to close down the vernacular schools already. And we are still in the same mess.

The essence of the poem is in the last few sentences. In modern usage, to me it means:

"People come and go, and life is unpredictable. However, I hope that you will be healthy forever. Even after we are separated, our shared memory will always remain in our heart."

It doesn't really translate literally, but we often use the last two sentences to say goodbye and to wish the person good luck. Sort of like "until we meet again, good luck".

Most Chinese-ed can communicate with mainland Chinese just fine. Don't imagine-lah. Also it depends on which part of China. Most of our ancestors were from south China, so naturally we are more accepted by the Chinese who share the southern background. But "accepted" is a tricky word, you see, many Malays don't accept us as Malaysian either, but it doesn't stop some of us, like you, from living happily in M'sia.

I agree that we have to be respecful to people of different races, and many of our current problems are due to the racial politics by BN, but please don't hallucinate.:-)

I wanted to tell this story for a while when you first wrote about OTK supposedly an expert in calligraphy so that makes him the defender of the Chinese culture.

I think any Chinese-ed will tell you they had experienced raising funds for their schools during their school years. Almost every year we were asked to bring a donation card home and ask for donations, usually every few years there would be a major fund raising initiative. Naturally, I always asked my father to donate money, but the most he would donate were $5, $10, whereas a neighbor of mine, Uncle X, would donate $100, sometimes $300. All these happened many years ago when I was still in high school, so these donations were no small amounts. Uncle X was a businessmen, active in Chinese business circle, Chinese-ed, a person with deep Chinese cultural knowledge. In his house, you will see all kinds of Chinese art displays, calligraphy, and other things which signifies his admiration of Chinese culture. So one day after my father donated his usual $10, I was really frustrated and basically said to him why can't he be like Uncle X, donate more money to be more supportive of Chinese education. I think he was really pissed off and scolded me on never take things from their surface (this is a direct translation: 看东西不能只看表面), and he said:”If he really supports Chinese education, how come none of his kids are in Chinese school? He eldest son can't even write in Chinese. I don't just talk, I support things through my action”. This may be a surprise to you, but as a person from a Chinese-ed family, we don't talk about Chinese culture, definitely in no way we talked about calligraphy or 5000-year history. I guess it's because my parents studied in US before. Chinese is our mother language, following Chinese routines just seems to be a natural thing to do. At no time there was Chinese versus English education debate, nor he ever showed any animosity towards English-ed. He always stressed that English is very important and I wish I had listened to him before. But that was one time I saw my father's reaction when his support of Chinese education was questioned.

Over the years, I become close to Uncle X's kids, and in many occasions I went to their house. I had seen Uncle X's support of Chinese events first hand, and one day I finally asked the question. He answer was no different from the answer given by some of our relatives and friends – his kids are Malaysians, and he want them to be Malaysians so he thought they should study in national school. Besides, with his and his wife's Chinese ability, they can teach Chinese at home. My father's reaction was: “你看, 这些所谓的华教支持者，华教靠他们早就完蛋了。"

Uncle X is always an interesting character in my mind. Contrary to my father's belief, I think his support of Chinese education is sincere (my father was after all, a product of the former Nanyang University, hahaha, so is Uncle X if I am not mistaken). I guess the moral of the story is if there were anyone saying Chinese never tried to assimilate into the local environment in Malaysia, I tell them to go f themselves. I have met many families who had chosen that path and come to regret their actions, and I would say including Uncle X. In fact it's common to see parents sending the eldest to national school to “experiment” and later decided to send the other kids to Chinese school, for a variety of reasons. I hope people would realize, the division that we see in our country today is the result of our politicians harping on racial issues, removing all the vernacular schools won't solve the problem. People are aware of Indonesian Chinese, I don't know whether one can still call them Chinese, given many in the new generation Chinese culture has been lost in them, but have they been accepted to the Indonesian society? It was merely 10 years ago there was an anti-Chinese movement. To understand why Malaysian Chinese are absolutely non-compromise in Chinese education, one has to first understand the path is irreversible. Once you give it up, it's gone! Second, if you give it up, you will still not be “accepted”. BN won't abolish NEP just because vernacular schools are closed. I always thought the day that “Ketuanan Melayu” is dropped, it will be the beginning to the end of Chinese education in Malaysia, in the absence of any actions by the government. But I think UMNO has better plan, that is to change the population composition.

Back to OTK supposedly calligraphy ability, I would say so what? Personally I prefer DAP's ideology, a Malaysia for all races ( I will write more about this later and in part trying to answer your questions about LKS). I am wary of 岳不群 type of character. A character who is fighting for the good guys but is actually an evil person in a famous JinYong novel. Even if he is not, I would say to him the good guys include all races. He view is outdated. But I think from what he has done so far, Pakatan should worry, and BN's divide and rule approach may work again on Chinese, I think the “Astro effect” (my hypothesis), could work to MCA's advantage based on what Ong has done, rather than against it like 308 (more to come, in a few days).

I have to disagree here. I think many Malaysian Chinese are much more "Chinese" in traditional sense than Chinese from HK and China. This is no joke. More than one time HK friends have told me that. This is because in their curiculum, traditional Chinese, 文言文, was not as heavily emphasized as in our schools. I have never met a Chinese from mainland, TW, or HK told me that they would 挥春 during Chinese New Year, we all may have done it in our school years (with me using my magic color pen, haha), but I think to say that's what chinese culture is about is ludicrious. Not in today's world.

To know Chinese culture, it has to start from the language, which is what Chinese education is about. And when you learn the language, inevitably you have to learn about Chinese history and literature. So I would say Chinese education is everything, whereas calligraphy something in the past. haha. For example, we use phrases like 高處不勝寒, 但願人長久 in speaking and writing. They are from the poem on your main page, and they have very specific meanings. It requires a person to understand the poem to use them. So in a way, learning the language is like learning the culture. It is not like if you know a bunch of Chinese characters, you can write good Chinese, at least I don't think so.

About your sister not understanding your China relatives, I say that's very common-lah. It has to do with our use of Chinese dialects in M'sia, in a way, "polluted" the way we speak Chinese. But mainland Chinese have said I speak "purer" Chinese (whatever that means) than people in mainland China, try Sichuan, listening to Deng XiaoPeng speech in Chinese gave me headache.

Our accent is not a problem-lah. Our command of Chinese is good :D , Also, Sinchew articles are much better written than a few years ago.

People will finally realize (at least based on the current rate), what has been promised to be the utopia of winning is merely a possession of a failed state. Some are realizing that... and more will over time when they are convinced that Malays have "taken" back the country -- winning will cease to be an issue, and saving the country naturally will become the main issue.

It is not easy to walk away, and it is not easy to stay. This is the fate of the unwanted citizens.

Two Questions:
1) Can science test and prove what sparked the creation of the universe before the universe existed? (Obviously, scientists will tell you that the universe is finite in terms of age and size if you've ever studied astronomy/astrophysics.)

2) Can science test if and how matter is created out of nothing (no space, no time, no energy, no matter/particles, nothing at all)? How can we test the creation of matter out of nothing, when our very existence resides in SOMETHING (space, time, etc.) at all points in time?

Until these two things can be tested and proved, you have shot yourself in the foot with your own argument.

Apart from the list of the companies, that have already been mentioned above, another agnecy that is already doing great amount of mindblowing work in this space is OgilvyPR. Their digital works are too well established and have very high expert team catering to all the markets of APAC.I have personally some of their work and of others too in various campaigns. So I feel that digital in India is not lagging far behind

Well, Mikael's growling is for sure heavy as hell, but also quite low in terms of level and power. Tägtren also goes heavy as hell when he wants to, but pushes a whole lot more air when he growls and gets a really more brutal and powerful feeling. They're both great vocalists, both very technical guys doing their jobs, but when it comes to power and brutality, Peter Tägtren really blows away whatever is in front of him.

Anyway, it's all a matter of taste.

And, of course, this new stuff with Mikael back looks awesome!

Looks like the N140 has a much better sound then the N110 I have (3W output speakers instead of 1W). I like the N110 but the volume is just too low to listen to music or video’s. I have bought USB power speakers to boost the sound, but this means carrying more junk around.
