in Twitter Ads Make an Appearance on Marketing Pilgrim
I really don't mind it too, because I don't visit the Twitter homepage all that much, LOL. But even if I did, I'd be OK with a few decent ads and not a whole bunch of "flashing things", like April said.

in The Best Way to Save the World is to Save Yourself on How to Make a Difference
This is so so true! A lot of people do not realize that they -- one person -- can make a difference. A lot of people feel that change only happens if millions of people work towards it.

I'm sure you put in a lot of effort compiling and publishing this, James. Unfortunately, I have been so tied up in the past week that I am only going through the submissions now :D
But better late than never, right?

I have a T-shirt that reads "I LOVE MALAYSIA" and I keep getting weird looks from passers-by. Seriously, what's wrong with wearing such a T-shirt when I really do mean it?
LOL.

I am glad that another person has gone pink for October! :))

in the myth of the parent that NEEDS to work on brip blap
This is so aptly written but unfortunately, not many people see the points behind it. Like you said, many people say that they "have" to work to "make ends meet" but their definition of "making ends meet" is quite actually to "living in a huge house, drive a few huge cars and visit Europe every year".
I don't normally chat for long with people who don't know what they're saying..

in A great day for blogger’s, WordPress 2.3 is finally out on Techie Buzz
Have you updated your blog? Are you able to use your Automatic Upgrade plugin? I used to have a problem with your initial release, but I had recently upgraded it to the newest version (0.6), but haven't tested it yet.

Hi Pelf,
Yes I am going to upgrade to 2.3 in couple of days just waiting to know what kind of reactions people who are using it have.

in 2007/09/16/blogrush-2/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
It doesn't take a pro-blogger (or a rocket scientist) to realize how true points #5 and #7 are. New users would either rush to sign-up under popular bloggers or remove the referral ID altogether when signing up. And as with many other kinds of links (and posts) in the blogosphere, we really can't tell which are genuine and which aren't!

in Sunday poll - problem solved on brip blap
I would change the mentality of most people regarding the environment. Most people think that we do not need to care about the environment, because whatever happens today (species extinction, global warming, etc.) is part of the natural selection.
If I could just snap my fingers and change something, I'd change their mentality. I'd make everybody more conscious of and respectful to their environment.

That depends on what kind of "sick", right? If I have a flu or a fever and if I could still get to work, I would. And I'd go home if I find myself sleeping in the office. But if I've got a headache, no way, I'd call in sick and stay in bed until I'm well.
I hate headaches!

in ten tips for new bloggers on brip blap
You know, I find myself nodding as I read the tips. Very well written, and for a while, I thought I was the one who wrote it. However, there are certain debatable points, e.g.
(1) partial vs full feeds -- a lot have been said regarding this, so I'd like to think that this is a personal choice, and not one that will determine the success of one's blog. Just my opinion though :)
(2) don't do link posts -- link posts can be done very impressively if the blogger avoids using anchor texts that read "this" or "click this" or "read more here". I've come across pretty interesting link posts in which the bloggers were able to incorporate the links very seamlessly into the posts :)
