in World of Goo design tour on Wolfire Blog
World of Goo is amazingly different! it's like someone designed it with Tim Burton in mind.
I hyped it on Everhype.com and gave it 99% which I think is fairly accurate.

in Avenged Sevenfold: An Album Review on Kyle Brady: A Blog
They are good at what they do, but I think it's terribly cheesy and just can't get my head around why they are so popular.

in Guns N’ Roses - “Chinese Democracy” Review, So Far on Pelokee
I listened to this album a few times, all the way through and all I could think to say, "is this it" this is what we were all waiting for? I think the guitar leads are amazing and the sound of the record rocks, but I didn't hear any songs that stood out.
I HYPED Chinese Democracy on EverHYPE and scored it 80%, which I think is very accurate.

in 2K Games to Publish Ghost Rider Game on Gamers Game
This Ghost Rider game has been critiqued harshly, but I think it looks like a fun game either way and very fast paced with some cool weapon commands.
I HYPED Ghost Rider on EverHYPE and scored it 84%, which I think is very accurate.

in Pop or art on Porter Mason: Cartoonist, writer and actor
Those Free credit commercial songs probably make more money than the top selling album. The cheesier the better I guess. Very fuuny

This site is very inventive. It's not often I see comic strips made about music in this way of course.

in Nobody knows the future - and it doesn’t matter! on Derek Sivers
I'm in total agreement with this article. We certainly don't know the future we can only view trends and consumer behavior based on how we deliver and promote a product or idea and if it catches, we run with it for as long as possible. Connecting with the human emotion to me is the way. There are a lot of great ideas for delivering music and I think we should simply try and be involved in as much of it as possible. Be available in as many places and formats possible.
Mobile media technology has certainly been a big part of the future of music.

in Is your album a starting line or a finish line? on Derek Sivers
My albums, and I have released many, are at the line of continuum. I look at it this way: for at least 1 yr from my release, I consider an album to be new, so i never stop promoting it as such religiously to new and potential fans. In the meantime to keep current fans fresh, I continue to create and write new songs, new ideas, collaborations, contests etc.. There is no right or wrong in this business, you just have to try everything, but be smart about where you fit in and have no fear when it comes to taking chances. Playing it safe rarely works.
Those are my thoughts anyway :)

in 2006/10/17/reverbnation-myspace-music-competitor/ on Mashable - The Social Media Guide
Some good input. I am an artist and touring musician who finds rebernation a highly useful site that makes my life so much easier. I find it more user friendly than myspace for many reasons. 1. There are far less errors, 2.much more useful tools to promote yourself with. 3. It seems that it's much harder to spam users begging them to lsiten to your music. 4. It looks nothing like Purevolume and although PV is great, it does nothing in comparison for the artist, unless you are willing to fork over several hundred dollars for front page exposure.
Staying focused is a great idea. I think sites like myspace will crumble from lack of focus and poor management. Sites more focused like reverb and Purevolume will stand the test of time. They offer less headaches and more to the point ideas.
