If I try to enter the same code that is working for different locations, it will not post it again for my state. is this to prevent the junk codes that people were leaving.
I used BEEMOVIE at two locations this morning, but only one entry is posted for that code.

I stopped getting the new release emails from Redbox, but they always had a free code at the bottom, or has that been discontinued.

I have rented movies on there first day of release, and found some to be scratched, maybe Redbox is getting a deal on the less than perfect dvds.

I just used a new McDonalds Code in Iowa, MCSKLLT308, I passed out the code NOFOOL to customers at Dahl's in Des Moines, it quit working at one location now, the red box says can not take your promo code at this time, anyone no if that is permanent or not?

Hi all, I thought the code MCSKLLT308 would only work at McDonalds, I was wrong, I used it at Dahl's and got a free movie today, thanks Evolve.

Redbox has fixed the code MCSKLLT308, it now works only at McDonalds, maybe they read my earlier post on the subject.

The machines here in Des Moines are not taking the Monday Code or any other, The 4 I tried say cannot accept your promo code at this time, must be a problem at Redbox.

LOUZOO has stopped working in Iowa at McDonald's and Dahls, it says not valid at this location, McDonald's in St Louis is advertising a free movie with Large Drink, does any one know what code that is,

Hi Michael, the new code SSC408 looks like a McDonalds only code, is there a way to list that so everybody knows, there last 3 codes ended in 08, the ssc appears to stand for southern style chicken, there new item.

SSC408 McDonalds and HYVEE Hy-Vee are both now shown as invalid codes when you try to use them.

If you call redbox at 1-866-REDBOX3 and tell them you got a defective movie, you will need the last 4 digits of the credit card, they will give you a one time use code for a free rental, that is good for 45 days.

You can use each code once with different cards, if you try to use the same code over with one card, it will tell you the code was already used with that card, you can then put in a different code. for a free movie.

I just used the promo code MCDMEDVD at a McDonalds in Iowa for a free movie, I thought this might be bogus, but it was not.

The Redbox website now explains that renting online is a premium service and is not available with a promo code.

I tried REDBOX after having already rented with the same credit card, it said code was for new customers only, so I used a different credit card and it took the code. You just need a new card that has not been used.

I was handing out free codes at a local market, I overloaded the redbox and that is the message it gave until the next day, when it started taking the code again.

I was told the code DSMSPAD was in a McDonalds ad included with the Des Moines Register, so it probably will only work at McDonalds.

You can enter the code before picking a movie or right before checkout.
after you hit rent a movie, at the bottom left is a button marked rent with promo code, hit that and enter the code, if it is valid, it will bring up the movies, or before pressing checkout, hit the button to the left marked promo code, if it takes the code it will show $1.00 discount and the code entered, hope this helps.

Hello, all, the code in Sundays McDonalds ad DSMSPAD, is shown as invalid, it was supposed to be valid June 15th thru July 14th, I reported it to Redbox, and they verified it is not valid, they are going to turn it in to there Marketing Department. Hopefully that will resolve the issue.

You have to find a Redbox that is showing a empty case for rent, pick that and rent as usual, then put your dvd in that case and return it,

Michael, why was the code SUMMER1 removed from the list, it was showing promo code not good at this location when I tried it, which meant it was a legit code somewhere?

I tried both, P2GLBKX came up as an already used code, BR66S11 was shown as an invalid code, have not tried the FUJI26 yet, I talked to Redbox and they told me that SUMMER1 was a valid working code, but would not tell me where.

Some select customers get a code with there new releases instead of the normal dvdonme at the bottom, I use to get them, but now mine all have dvdonme at the bottom too, not sure who qualifies for the extra code,

I have been the first one to rent some new releases, and some discs had marks on them, some had no marks but still skipped, I think maybe Redbox gets a deal on the seconds or discs that are not perfect.

Michael, from the usage pattern on the new code SUMRDAYS608, it looks like it might be McDonalds only, there last code ended in 508, this one is 608, I used it at a McDonalds and will try it at a Dahl's location later today.

If you call the tollfree number and report cursor problems, they can fix it from there offices, I have had to do that when I could not enter codes, and they will give you a free rental good for 45 days to boot.

You should call redbox at 1866redbox3, and let them know the code does not work and which location, they can sometimes correct it online, or give you a one time use code that will work, everytime I call them I get another free code good for 45 days.

It appears from the usage of the code LOU808, that it may work only at the Louisville Kentucky area McDonalds, but the code MCSUMR808 seems to work at all McDonalds so far. One out of two is not bad.
