I still have faith in Twitter. I cannot get into plurk even though I have tried and I am annoyed my karma went down because I have not been using it. Oh well.. you cannot have it all.

I was natural for 9 years. It was 9 years of freedom hair that I enjoyed immensely with my braids, then twists and I almost locked my hair. However because of my job I had to perm my hair. I was not forced to perm my hair but I had to go there because of the side comments I heard from the white corporate managers making comments about natural hair.

It really surprised me of their ignorance but then some of these men were older and some had not seen the variety of ways that natural hair looks presentable in their eyes. Black women's hair issue is a vicious cycle that we go through in order to be accepted by society. But, I have realized that in loving myself that I can carry the natural style or the perm style. Experiencing natural hair is a part of coming to grips of what is best for what you want to do with your hair.

Though my hair is now permed, I am enjoying it because it is short with a style. However, if I am getting tired of my perm, I will reconsider my decision on going natural again.

We are blessed to have hair that allows us to choose to be straight or in its natural state. Now, that is what I call good hair! We have a choice!

Rev. Wright is an accomplished individual who is not an opportunist for fame or money or attention but an opportunist in sharing the knowledge of a culture that is constantly misunderstood. I know you saw Rev. Wright's interview on PBS and was impressed. [I was too]

Was it his education that impressed you?

Was it that he has been a constant figure in the black community that has been about uplifting all people?

I know you are not a Democrat and that you are from New York. [Reading you off and on] So I am just trying to make some sense out of that Rev. Wright comment.

Music addict so I am constantly blogging about music. Are you on http://www.last.fm? If not, get with it!! Talk lots of trash (nothingness) to some people. Just to free my head up of the nonsense I see sometimes here online. I read a lot but more os of newspapers online but I would like to finish reading all these zillions of books I have before I continue to make Barnes & Noble rich. I need to play more outside. I am now making mandatory play time for myself. We need to have that on twitter where we yell out PLAAAAY TIME! ;) I used to be an exercise manaic but twitter totally stopped that and I really need to get back to the gym for my exercise club is making a KILLING off of me financially! U made me realize how addicted I am to twitter. The insanity needs to 2 end!!
