I expect that at least 1 million facebook users will close their accounts. The old style facebook had all the information displayed on one page - simple! If you look up someone, you are not going to be inclined to look through all the tabs to find out about them. I will stop using it and use My Space for as long as it continues to allow all info on one page.
jessestay Jaseman, 1 million compared to their 100 million users will hardly make a dent for Facebook. I suggest taking some time in the new design and figuring out what it has to offer. I've found it actually gives users more options, and more ability to organize how others see them, and how you can see the activity of your friends. IMO it's actually easier to use than it was before - you just have to figure out the details of what it offers. With change always comes a learning curve, but if you spend some time with it I think you'll grow to like it.
Lots of people seem quick to slag off Internet Explorer. I find firefox doesn't display some pages correctly. Sometimes the fonts are the wrong size, etc. I don't love Microsoft, but you have to say, if they hadn't included IE with Windows, people might still be paying for Netscape. Where was the open source browser then? One thing I will say for Microsoft, It may have security holes and a few bugs, but generally everything works pretty well.
