In a cabinet meeting during World War 2 President Roosevelt was confronted with some scandal happening in Europe. It seems there was some concern amongst the commanders in Europe that seeing a leading general constantly in the company of an attractive young girl was undermining the morale of the troops. The cabinet members present came up with several suggestions but it was the Chief of Staff of the Army Air Corps, Gen. Hap Arnold, who came up with one that erupted in laughter by all those present, "Mr. President:, Arnold said, "If I were you I woundn't do a danmed thing about this because I have long believed if a man won't **** he won't fight." Though this information was never published at the time because of wartime censorship later historians diclosed the errant general was Eisenhower.
