Dear all, Speaking about oranges.... "Valencia late" is the variety of fruit that grows from march-june in Valencia orchards, and because of the history of this area exporting oranges all over Europe the last 100 years I will say this is the reason the people may link Valencia, with the oranges . <a href="http://www.intercitrus.org/ndsite.php?section=con..."><a href="http://www.intercitrus.org/ndsite.php?se... Valencia has become a brand for the oranges, like New Zealand has become so for the kiwi fruit. And you are right Gabriella, there is another Valencia city in Venezuela. Saludos,
