Artadi Rioja wines are great, but IMHO what really speaks out about Artadi´s talent is its ability to make grat wines in other regions across Spain and in joint Venture with other producers.
For instance, Artadi's project in Navarra (Artazu) is a good example of what garnacha (grenache) old vines can give in Spain.
I also like Bodegas y Viñedos el Sequé, the joint venture with Agapito Rico (producer from Jumilla) that produces impressive wines ("Laderas del Seque" and "El Seque") at unbelieveable prices. Those are 100% Monastrell (Mourvèdre in France) wines.
