Splendid post :) This is a Brute-Force method, but its nice to know abt it, coz sometimes, its a desperate situation when the admin passwords are lost / changed :O

To add to the post, there are two more methods, but they dont actually recover passwords. One changes the password if u have access to any login (even if its a liimited acount), and the second one requires you to repair xp partially (hence u need an xp cd). I can post abt it here if u want :D To add to the sizzling-info :D

Dx-11 is supposed to come out with windows 7 :D If its out in Q1 09, that means (supposidly) we cud be looking at a new windows then :)

Besides, im looking fwd for another upgrade to my pc (currently running G70, 7900gt). But i dont think that the early dx-11 cards wud be worth the wait :S .. esp after not-so-good results from gx-260 and gx-280 cards.

Me love it :D Im an opera user, and i simply love 9.5. Esp the multiple syncing stuff, coz that simplifies my office pc, home pc, laptop and my Windows Mobile (HTC Prphet) device :D

and bset of all, its free :) And contains quite a few features aswell :) ME like :) It gives an easier method in a single interface that editing registry settings manuall.

Maybe m$ are impressed with the Asus's new OS that comes with the eee-pc's.. dont remember the name right now, but its based on linux and has a boot time of 8-20 seconds, and lets u browse the Internet, play mediafiles etc, and even has openoffice !

Its basically not a trick imho.. atleast not different than setting the hidden option in the properties box... the only thing is that adding a system property will not reveal the folder on simply "show hiden files" option, unless the "show system files" option is alos checked.

btw, the slmgr.vbs -rearm also works in wndows vista for extending the trial period by 30 days, and is reusable 3 times for a total of 90 days :)... and that windows7 is based on vista ;)
