I'm an Oakley employee, but I'm in no way speaking on behalf of Oakley.

Regardless, thanks for the praise. Before I started working for Oakley (I work for Ken Loh, by the way... his title is Web Director -- he reports directly to the VPs), I had no idea what Oakley was about. Now that I work here, I'm floored by the creativity and passion that goes into everything here.

I'm passionate about what I do, and Oakley went way out of their way to bring me over from Florida to do, basically, XHTML and CSS. My passion for it and my drive to learn new things is a major part of what got me hired, and I'm positive it's the same for every other person at Oakley.

We love what we do, so thanks for the support that enables us to continue doing it. Usually the idea when you copy a site or service is to improve on it. I haven't seen that here.

It's entirely amazing that cable internet and television has only gotten more expensive in the last 10 years. Why does sweden have 5 times the in-home speed that americans do? Do they pay as much as we do?

And the bullshit part of all of this is that there is no alternative!

Now imagine if each comcast subscriber actually saw that $195,000.

Even if it's $100 per user, that's $900,000,000.

Thats awesome.

Now they just need to redo their software using a not-annoying GUI. (I'm a subscriber)

I would pay $20 a month if they just made the software decent. Navigating around is hopeless.. new artist discovery is non existent... it's just a big nightmare.

The big question for me is why can't they make the "learning" a centralized thing? It's not like people spam differently on different sites... they automate the spam.
