My first instinct is to say that the angel needs a pose that might read a bit better, in terms of the silhouette.  That way we can see what he's holding in his hand more clearly.  The bright center of the vortex is a good opportunity to play with the contrast and get him into a cool action pose. It scratched the itch of "making stuff and sharing it." Vastpark has a friendfeed room to show off it's lovely capabilities.  Blink3D is web-based if you want it to be, and has a really easy workflow for getting assets out of your 3D package and into a scene.
