Very valid points, Tyson. I think a lot of what you said can be used across the creative profession, as it's very hard for anyone unfamiliar with this kind of work to determine its worth.

When it really comes down to it, creative jobs are worth whatever someone is willing to pay, which is why we see works of art that cost more than mansions.

This is where personal responsibility comes in. The artists and creative professionals must abide by a set of guidelines and provide as much information as possible for the client to make an informed decision.

I've had .mac since it was iTools in 2001. I've waited SEVEN YEARS for some kind of phone/mac/organizer information and now I finally have it. If only I could use a different email, I'd be happy. right now I have everything running through gmail.

I purchased my iPhone on launch day and it's the best device I've ever had.

I'd really, really like to buy a 3G, but I just can't justify it. I have a few reasons:

-3G service is more expensive per month and is faster, but not TONS faster
-Battery life is better, but I have never really had a problem with my current battery
-GPS means nothing to me. It's not like I could use it safely while driving and I'm pretty good at looking around to know exactly where I am.
-The camera isn't any better, which I was hoping for

In all, the 3G is a great upgrade, but not worth the extra cost.

Don't tease about the new Macbooks. I'm too worked up about them as is.
