The film Gattaca comes to mind. I'm curious. How do they know its your salivia? What if you took my salivia and submitted under your name without me knowing, would you have a sneaky peek into my genome?

I live in Mid-Wilshire Los Angeles and there is no accessible WalMart. Well, there is one in Crenshaw 4 miles away, but for safety reasons I don't shop there.

Correct me if I'm wrong. My understanding is that Beacon will only track online purchases on websites that have agreed to work with Facebook.

My biggest concern is iTunes + Beacon. What if the most popular highshcool girl buys a song of "Britney Spears" new album. If this in turn affects other girls to buy songs of Britney's albmun, we will no doubt have to listen to her annoying voice over every public speaker in every shopping center. What a nightmare. I mean TRL already accomplishes this, but Beacon + iTunes would take it to a more extreme level.

I wonder what this will do the adolescent community. Peer pressure is a big part of their decision making process. However, I too would be happy to see this implemented.
