I was a bit of a skeptic when I first heard FrontPage was being phased out...until I took a closer look at what was replacing it. Now I know why...and I've see Dreamweaver users take note of the improvements in Web Design thanks to Microsoft and their ingenious ways! Some have called Expression Web and subsequent upgrades as a more affordable version of Dreamweaver CS3/CS4. I'm happy to be able to stick with Microsoft Products such as Expression Web and this is a huge step for them to have made this overhaul - for which I am grateful!

I find networking a bit more challenging now other than with the co-workers I work with...but I know that there are options available for me to network with even more now than ever. And with the CVAC membership, that also helps. Hopefully those connections will pay off!

I have had the hardest time explaining to my own family what I do as a virtual assistant, so I have given up on that. Since they don't consider that to be a real job, I figure at least as long as my wife, Donna understands and the rest of the time will be spent on educating others. I've developed skills in recent months that will help me with running my own home office, and I still keep my SEB information from what I picked up in that program. The way I see it...others have made an honest living doing what they love to do, so isn't it about time I had the same opportunities?
