What do you think of movie soundtracks? I love them, because there's such a cool variety of tunes, and they're often all good. Here in the USA, a very popular soundtrack is the one from the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou." Do you find yourself missing India much these days?

How much longer will you be in India? It's hard to believe there's not a workable CD player near you. Are there any lovely gardens to visit? I know there's a lot of rain, so there must be some primo garden spots.

Is there interesting music played on the radio stations where you are? I just heard "Chaiya Chaiya" over the web, and really liked it.

I'm glad to hear their are modern facilities and restaurants where you are. Are you teaching English, or is your visit for pleasure? In Los Angeles, the weather is very springlike, with temperatures in the 70s daily.

Hi, Stephanie! My daughter would love to see some photos of the Shinde dogs. We don't really know what they look like. How long are you staying in India? In America, the news is all about the presidential race, which seems to go on and on. It seems as though John Kerry will be George W. Bush's opponent in Nov.

Wow! What an exciting place to visit! Are you there for business or pleasure? My daughter is 11, and her best friend at school (in Los Angeles) is an Indian girl named Sahiba (her family is Sikh). Will there be many festivals or celebrations while you are there? I discovered your blog in looking for weblogs from Switzerland. Only 3 were listed!
