Thanks for the theme its awesome. I'm having a little trouble with the Rolling Archive all it loads is the Tags and it leaves the Latest Activity in the side bar. Any help would be appreciated.

You were right about the side bar, but how do I get that Earlier Entires that are in the side bar to come up in the Activity, Tage and Elsewhere at the bottom of the page? Thanks for the help.

Hey Carlos, Started following your blog around the time just before your time on LA Ink. Its such a small world that you moved from Cali to ATL and now you work with Moxie. I new Moxie when he was Mark and in a band called Sundry. We used to go to a lot of their shows and hang out when they were in FL. Small world. Thanks for the excitement and enthusiasm you write and post with it just fun to read your blog.

I can dispel some of the myth behind Moxie. Mark Gibson is an Atlanta area native and in high school was part of a band called Sundry. Those guys rocked. They had a great local following. The band members decided to go their separate ways about two years after high school, some went to college, one went to Nashville and Mark's alter ego was formed, Moxie, and became the front for his new band. Mark is a great guy with an amazing heart. He's a talented song writer and performer. Just a little dish to help you learn about the real Mark.

Phil, I really appreciate you sharing your strengths with me. Have you read the book, Now, Discover Your Strengths. Its a great book. I realize now more than ever that God has talented us but that it is deeper than that. He has made us who we are with specific personalities, things that make us tick and quirks to accomplish great things for His kingdom and knowing what our strengths are will only help us maximize what we can accomplish.

Ben,

We are currently living in Florida with family still waiting for God to show us where He is leading us. We feel like Abraham & Sarah right now God has told us that He wanted us to leave our current situation and travel until the time when He is ready to show us where He wants us to serve. Some people talk about leaving their current situation because of an outward pull and an inward push, I see that but its all about believing that even when a situation is good God can call you away from there. We love Savannah and I miss working at Islands a lot. But I can see that God wanted us to move on so that He could be glorified in both situations. A book that helped me see that I needed to find a place where God could use my talents was Now, Discover Your Strengths by Marcus Buckingham. It talks about how because of your experiences and make up (which we call God working before we were born to shape us) and how we should focus on the strengths that come of those and not on our weakness. Good read and very helpful. Kyle Lake wrote a book call Understanding God's Will which I thought was good and really pulled out that we are on a path and when thinking about God's will its not about a particular situation but the entire path. I hope this is helpful. Talking to people who knew me as a co-worker and also people who really knew me was helpful but I also went on the web to see what others were going through and how they handled the idea of leaving. Well, Dirty Faith is a book that Audio Adrenaline wrote about a year ago. We got the idea from them and hoped they would be able to be a part of the convention but we couldn't work it out but they did give us permission to use the book title and basic theme. We encouraged all the Jr. & Sr. High students not to be like most Christian teenagers. Our faith isn't a clean white shirt we pull out on Sundays and Wednesdays, it modeled after a passionate hands on God who came down and left the example for us to follow. Philippians 2 is where I like to go when I think of being dirty like Christ. We also put a huge emphasis on missions, whether local or abroad and we put together 2 trips for them to go on and we have scholarships for convention attendees. I hope this gives you an idea of where we were going. Thanks for reading my blog and commenting.

Porn is a terrible addiction that is causing an epidemic against families and future families. I'm sure that you have heard of xxxchurch.com, they have a different way of saying things that I wouldn't always say but they are really working hard to make sure that people know that God still loves them and they can get out it.

On your side note, I have looked at many blogging programs and website, I've had a Blooger and Moveable Type Site and I really like Wordpress out of all of them. Anyone who say they want a blog or even a cheap website I always encourage them to checkout Wordpress.

In the areas of Florida that I live in is in the middle of Jacksonville and Tampa, so we don't get to see the Miami games. I know Miami and Detroit have played on Thanksgiving a few times that I can remember and I know how it feels to lose and lose and lose. Thanks for posting on my site.

These blogs are such a great way to have conversations about what is going on in our churches and theological thoughts. I hope that you find what God has in store for your church and you see with your own eyes through study of the Scriptures what God has to say about Communion and not just take our word for what we have grown up around. I have been trying to do this with the doctrinal stances that the fellowship of churches that I am a part of hold to and make sure that they are Biblical and not tradition. Keep doing God's work in Perth and be the unique community that He has in store for you to be.

Let me clearify myself a little. I'm not saying a person who doesn't know any better refers to you as Pastor or this is my Pastor. I'm refering to ministers that refer to each other or themselves as Pastor.

Thanks for the comments. I appreciate your help with this. I will work in the top white wording and also the word Outward. My goal with the gradient in Outward is movement, but maybe that can be achieved another way.

Like I said in my post I don't disagree with the stance on the name that you took and I think you did a better job in your comment. Maybe there is something to redeeming the name but there is also something said for doing something today to reconcile lost people who link Christians are a joke. On a side note Dave's church is called Community Christian Church so they do have some high regard for the name Christian.

Thanks for the info. That is pretty much we think she will be doing but I wanted to throw it out there to see if we are missing anything. We are realizing how much administration stuff is done in committees and ministry teams bogging them down from doing ministry so we are working to stream line some of that her way to free them up and make the admin stuff happen on a more consistent basis.

I agree because it is unnatural for us to require that of someone. But I've heard guys talk about how they are finding that new converts are much more willing to do evangelism than life long church leaders in their churches.

@Mark Gaeta -We are all doing well. Judah turned 2 last weekend and Chloe starts kindergarten in a month. We are staying in Ormond Beach for now and still looking for a new ministry. It was preached by Larry Cline at Holly Hill Church of Christ this last Sunday.

You are right for some reason the new ones they are making are not vacuum sealed, but rather have styrofoam insert instead. You can still find some of the originals you just have to take the bottom off and look for the vacuum seal and you'll get nice hot coffee for longer.

I've been told to many times that church comes first and you look at their family and unfortunately its not what God intended. Now there is a new breed of leaders who say focus on your family and let your example be a part of your ministry. That's the boat I'm in. God didn't give us families to neglect, if we were supposed to give our all the ministry He would have called us to be single (and there is another great ministry we should be talking about).
