Here's some statistical data. While Fridays are down days 79% of the time, in 27 weeks this year, 10 Thursdays have been down days.
These down Thursdays have been followed by down Fridays 9 times (90%) in total, and 100% of the time when Thursdays have gone down more than 0.75%.

Past performance is no indication of future performance but percentage tennis works.

yes --I have taped on my keyboard "my opinion doesn't matter...the only thing that matters is price"
that being said I am short a few ES with a 2 point stop based on the stats... I usually take half off with a 1.5 move and then move the stop to BE on the whole trade so I have a "freebee" shot or a small loss.. either way I am cool with it.

I generally call anyone older then me ma'am or sir (anyone older then 40ish, rather). I'm often mistaken for military because of the number of times I use it during the interaction. Some patients will tell me "don't sir/ma'am me! Just call me Jim/Jane!" So I do. If I'll be taking care of them for long periods I'll ask how they wish to be addressed. Since I'm a medic I introduce myself to people by my first name. They never know my last name, and I like it like that! When I talk to coworkers (doctors, nurses, other medics) I call them by their first name. It drives 2 of our doctors nuts. So I do it more often. Most of our doctors don't care. If we're in front of a patient I refer to the doctor by their last name "Dr. Jones, take a look at this lac." One of our very nice ortho surgeons refers to the nurses as "Nurse Lastname" and the medics as "Medic Lastname" We always refer to him as Doctor, even in the informal setting in the hospital.

1 of my ER (ED, if you're Whitecoat, hehe) Doctor friends reads the blogs, but refuses to get his own account, so he asked me to comment the following: "Frank is so right, most of them are a bunch of ghouls. This TV thing is bullshit. What, they don't know how to read, or play their gameboy? How about do some homework while they're sitting there, that's what I always did. I wonder how much all that cost, a waste of my hard earned money." He also said to tell all the hateful commenters that he was a dialysis patient when he was a kid, before he got his new kidney. Then quite a few years later, he went into failure, so he got back on it.
