from my point of view Google still not reveiling the original facts behind launch of Chrome.
its not the fight between chrome and internet explorer. According to my opinion Google chrome is launch to defeat Window. for me chrome is not a browse its a cloud OS.

Habitually i am visiting this blog as it is in my favourites but shocked to see the above image well thi is already predicted by many authorities.

Shafiq it's a very informative post. infact i completely agreed with you as when my company's email server crashed last month. i plan to migrate on the same resulting save maintenace and decresed hardware cost with almost 100% uptime Guarantee by Google.

Setting up your own email server with utility like ALT-n Mdaemon or setting up your own Microsoft exchange server is a hectic process.

due to some policies matter we haven't migrate there but soonly we planned to switch over there so i can access my emaiaccount@company.com from Gmail.com .

A web product that enable me to check my corporate email from anywhere.

BUT if we talking practically ,
According to my observation usually companies did not setup Live Exchange server as this process icrease their cost. They must have an alternate backup of ISP, a strong hardware firewall that protect them from threats and attacks.
so usually companies purcahse some paid hosting services where they host their domain,setup pop accounts and then retrieve email from that servers.
as we are in Pakistan and mostly hosting providers are only reseller they don't have their own setup except few like Cyber . so ultimately a security risk is still present in this scenario.
A middle person is still exists...!

such websites depends on their server as a good broadband connection required at our end to view youtube videos without any delay but mostly proxy website failed to successfully open website with text contents only.
however, check this recent news , youtube is released in Pakistan.

PTCL is not so bad as we think. we must encourage their efforts for better services by them . just remember the past days when we dial 17 for general inquiry and how they entertain us. They gradually change their pattern and the process will take time.

The credit goes to PTCL for low tariff by other ISP as they all revised their tariff when PTCL announces low rate bandwith solution other wise a 30,000 to be charged by other ISP for a shared 2MB connection in the past.

I totally disagree with all those bloggers who continously blame Wateen for its services. Let them overcome their issues as they are implementing state of art wimax technology to Pakistan.

yes they are as u can upload files through a Java applet for that you need Java Run time.
But i prefer Xdrive.com which provide 5GB web space with dektop lite version so that u can easily backup your file . Xdrive desktop lite version builts on latest Adobe air 3.0

Hi Shafiq,
you have raise a good topic and i would like to share my story in this context. as when we were deploying wireless network at our head office premises, I almost go through major brands like TPLink, Netgear, Linksys, D Link, US Robotics and other china brand (Memo and N series Range).
Let me make a point clear which is a big confusion, the Dlink people offers me a product which spread signal about 300 Sq metre range with their N series product but they failed as the signal strength drops with 150 Sql metres due to walls so neither take decisions on basis of the specification on the Box as that test carried out with standard environment and we all must aware about the strategy of builders during construction of house and offices.

Here i am focusing the building construction material because these walls are the major reason to weakens signal strength of a router.

Finally, i suggest you to go ahead with Linksys WRT45G as it has handsome wireless range compare to others.
and if cost is not a big matter for you , you must go ahead with USR product which offers (Print server+Access Point+ Wiireless router) all in one in just 5000 Rs.

i would like to share my experience and add some more points which will helpful for reader and shafiq surely agreed with me what i suggest here :D.
shafiq:i was quite bzy last days with some new assignement hope u r f9.

8- must check feedback from user from website like www.notebookreview.com and etc..

9- must verify amount of heat produce by notebook.

10- go ahead for Wimax technology instead of WIFI as intel launches WIMAX notebook

11- be sure if purchasing from Pakitan region that the equipment not import through Grey otherwise you can not avail warranty.Always check authorised dealer from manufacturer i recently made a deal of HP notebook from authorised dealer Hayat
computer and they people provide me 1 year comprehensive warranty. not international but local. here is the confusion if shop keeper guide you about international warranty means you have to visit dubai to claim your warranty..
Hooray.. your notebook cause a trip to dubai but cost to be bearby you :P

Mobilink Infinity sucks in the same way like Wateen. The Wimax technology still need more time to substitute DSL.

May be the reason behind low quality of service is due to domestic infrastructure of Electric cables lower the signal strength.

i will appreciate if somebody comments regarding WorldCall Evo.
