Dave, that is a really good idea. I love it actually. Downtown has a ways to go before it brings in Nordstrom, but a bunch of name brand outlets would be excellent. And actually the rest of Long Beach would like drive down there for that sort of thing as well. You should send that idea to DBLA or whoever it is that could do something about it.

Juan and I finally agree on something. The Pike is not the problem. The problem is that stupid walmart and the city's insistence on subsidized / affordable housing.
