Being the Daniel Kilby duly credited over at Outland, I suggested Dexter, with cards like "You accidentally killed Deb; go back 3 spaces" or perhaps "Found Camille's perfect Key Lime Pie, roll again". A board game of The Tudors would also be somewhat surreal.

Re: Ep 156: Yael Bergman, Shark Jumping, Lazy Country Music Stars

I don't think the TV board game is entirely dead and buried; I'm sure I saw one in a catalogue for Borders or someone like that only a couple of weeks ago. It may even have been for Packed to the Rafters.

But, yes, even the TV tie-in board games tend to be trivia-heavy and/or based fairly strictly on game shows. I'm just hanging out for the Taken Out game...

Re: Ep 157: My Own Worst Enemy, The Worst TV We’ve Ever Seen

As long as I don't have the stomach to attempt Stupid and NotVeryFunny Courier Company or whatever the fuck it's called, Pizza will remain the worst TV show I've ever seen.

Of course, if it's a question of the Worst TV Show You've Ever Enjoyed, that's an entirely different kettle of fish. I was, at one time, almost addicted to Silk Stalkings and to this day, I can't quite fathom why.

But at least we now have an answer to the perennial question, What do Barney and Friends, The Jerry Springer Show and My Mother the Car have in common? I'm not sure what the hell Hogan's Heroes is doing on that list I have no idea, but then it has been many a long year, and quite possibly puberty, since I last saw it.

Re: Ep 160: Jane Badler (Diana from V), Sons of Anarchy

But then, at the time, his only competition was William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee.

'Sexiest' is quite obviously a relative term.

I think Freeview have a big job ahead of them to get people to buy/rent/hire/timeshare(?) their product. If a bunch of telly nerds like us are confused and underwhelmed by the prospect even at this early stage, I don't see the general population getting too excited.

DanBo

Re: Ep 160: Jane Badler (Diana from V), Sons of Anarchy

Oh, dear.

I saw 'Baker' and 'sexiest Doctor yet' and my brain instantly went to the one with the least competition. I can understand the argument that Davison was sexy; I certainly appreciated his work as Inspector Christmas on Mrs Bradley.
