in What is YOUR use for Twitter? on Mr Tweet Blog
I do it for a very similar reason as you; Twitter helps me vent a bit, and if people follow me, that's cool with me. I don't retweet, but I am trying to interact more.

in Do newspapers have a shot? on Scobleizer
Idealy, I would love to see the printed word survive in the future, but I think that Newspapers are just too time-sensitive to last anymore. In my opinion, I think newspapers should take more "recap" style articles where it won't matter if the newspaper sits in a shop or a machine for a week or so, you can still learn something from it.

And also, I do agree in the desire for a less political news press. Even as someone relatively left wing, I go to read news to learn about what is going on in the world, not some person's opinion on what is going on in the world.

I've have had some odd return times... a few days ago, I had a plane of mine returned to me, it being a model that I haven't flown in a good few months.

in On games and Second Life. | Baba Sucks on Baba Sucks
Personally, I have to disagree. To me, Second Life is a game to me, but not as you may think it. Unlike what other reizies (to borrow a term from Torley) may think, I fail to see any negative context to the word. A game is something one enjoys taking part in, a way to have fun with themselves and others, with or without competition involved. Words like "Infrastructure", "archetecture", "busness tool", "Platform" and "Utility" to me, fail in once crucial area: Capturing the Spirit of Second Life. All those words just sound flat and boring, failing to represent even the tiniest bit of culture that the word "game" brings to mind.
