Well, some places get their "tap" water from a spring. Besides, this isn't news at all. Most bottled water companies get their water from "tap" water that is then run through several different purification methods. It's not uncommon and several of them are listed as "spring" water. It's mostly a marketing ploy to get people to actually buy it. After all, would YOU buy a bottle of something that said "purified tap water" on it?

As I'd pointed out in my blog, most jobs that pay the amount I'd need to be able to pay my bills either start before the busses do, or end after the busses stop running for the night.

Well, the problem with busses, is that you have to be working during the times they run. Not all placeskeep their shifts at times when the busses run. I might have to be to work at 2PM, but not get off until 10PM, and the bus doesn't run at 10PM. At least not here. LOL

Actually it's not at all difficult to install the database & WordPress......in fact, I'm going to be putting up a "resources" page under the "For You" section that gives insight on where to get the stuff I use and maybe even some tutorials on how to use it. :)

Mercy American Idol is one of the things we do at the hospital I work at to celebrate national hospital week. It's basically a musical talent contest for the Mercy employees. It's pretty cool and some of the people there can really sing! I had fun, although I was terrified since I have horrific stage fright! LOL

Yeah, they're touring, although the radio stations just this week decided to make a big deal of the concert. They put out a CD end of 2006/beginning of 2007 that I don't have yet. I really need to get it. LOL

I decided against the payday loan for the t-shirt for the moment. I figure if I really wanted to get the shirt, I'd have saved back some money instead of ordering food, etc all the time.

My mom's oxygen compressor didn't have a battery backup, as evidenced by the fact that I had to switch to her portable tanks whenever the power went off in our area due to a storm. Also, our original power company didn't accept physician orders to prevent disconnection. We had one faxed to the power company, complete with our account number and everything and they said that it didn't matter. It depends on your power companies policy. We switched power companies after finding out that our power could still be disconnected.

I can hold parties to sell the products if I want to. I'm trying to book a couple of parties/skin care classes right now. They're fun to do, and generally people do buy a bit from them. You can also sell by directing people to your website if you have one set up, or by someone who knows you sell Mary Kay just asking if they can buy something from you. It's pretty neat, and although I haven't gone too far with it yet, I'm expecting great things from it. :)

Well, the radioactive dye isn't so bad to tell the truth. I joked about being radioactive for a bit after the bone scan, but really, it's not that bad. :) I don't think it'll cause any problems anyways. LOL

Well, for me, a big part of it was the fact that with the churches, even if I didn't go to the actual building, I didn't like letting words written in a book define how I am supposed to live my life. I guess, to me anyways, when I read something that says "you must not do this or that" it bugs me. I don't know, I guess I'm just weird. LOL

Which is exactly my point. While I realize that funerals cost a bundle, the truth is, most parents already know where to get life insurance for their kids. And most people know what life insurance is for, so it's kind of stupid to advertise it. But what I find funny is that they'll market life insurance to elderly people as "don't make your family have to scrounge to pay for your funeral costs." I find the thought of an elderly family member dying just as awful as a child.

Actually, it's under Options - Permalinks in the WP admin panel. :) You can choose from default, date and name based, numerical, or create a custom structure. I chose date and name based for mine, but you can pick whichever one you like. :)

Thanks. :) I went to the doctor today - got antibiotics for the bronchitis and steroids for the laryngitis. I'm starting to get my voice back, I think a couple more doses of the steroid and a couple cups of peppermint tea should help. :) I'm taking my peppermint tea to work with me tomorrow as well. LOL

Well, for me, laundry soap is pretty much anything that says "free," "clear," or "hypo-allergenic" on the bottle. Usually Purex Naturals or All Free/Clear.

I only wish. Most of my rock stars were like the band Slaughter, a couple guys from Winger, a couple guys from Extreme. I've sighted plenty of wrestlers after shows, and if I'd actually thought about it, I probably could have met Godsmack had I not been in such an all fired rush to get home. Hmph.

LOL.... not only that, but compared to most of Europe, we're downright prudes when it comes to sex. It's pretty common to see people wandering around over half naked there and no one bats an eye.

Well, that's odd, because it doesn't do it on MY computer, and it's made for a screen resolution of 1024X768, because that is the highest I have available to me. It works fine on my screen.

Hmm, that's odd that it would do that in Firefox as I have both FireFox 2 and FireFox 3 Beta 3 and it doesn't do that in either, plus, I have a screen res of 1024X768 which is the max available to me, and it works great on that.

LaShawn's keyboard isn't too bad, it at least makes clicky noises when I type, but it's the whole "having my hands resting on the computer when I type" thing that's bugging me about it. That and trying to play a game with the touch pad. I don't see how she does it! LOL

That's what I do as well, although I have to extremely careful with generic soap or fabric softener since I'm allergic to some of them. But I usually stick to what I know I can use and I'm good. :)

That's how I am too. If I have a bad experience (bagged skillet dinner in alfredo flavor to be exact) I won't get that in generic again. But if it works/tastes good/etc I'm open for whatever. :)

Actually the other problem is when I have had a host that allowed it (my current one might, but my previous 2 did not), it would never work correctly. LOL It would let me log in, but as soon as I edited the log in info, it'd stop working, or if it didn't stop working then, it would not allow me to make any posts. So I gave up on it.

Some hosts don't allow it as it's been seen as a security threat. I had a reseller through a hosting company who had an explicit ban on both Greymatter & MT. If it ran in the cgi-bin, it was forbidden.

As per usual, MT does NOT work for me. Truthfully there is no such thing as a secure script. Some hacker will figure out a way to exploit any script that is produced. But I tried several different things last night and MT would not work for me at all, and frankly, I don't have the money to pay Six Apart to install it for me, so I'll just leave it be.

I'm assuming you haven't seem PETA's ads promoting vegetarianism then. Because I have, and they would like to make it so we cannot have meat.

I don't like cruelty to animals either, but I shouldn't have to look at a naked celebrity with the words "I'm a Vegetarian" over it because an organization is trying to prove a point. If the ads involved something other than naked celebrities, maybe I'd listen to what PETA has to say. To me, using naked celebrities cheapens their message.
