I still check in on the little monster before i go to bed, i dont spend 5 minutes. but if i had TWO boys at once, i might need that extra few minutes for each kid just to pat myself on the back for making it through the day. there is no end to testosterone

Just discovered a bottle of 1977 Cresta Blanca Tinta Port in my father's house. Apparently it was left there by his now deceased uncle. He (that is, my father, not my uncle) ;-) does not drink wine and though I do enjoy port, I'm not sure if I should store this particular bottle for optimal results. Any comments would be appreciated!

Hillary thinks that the Civil Rights Movement happened from the top down? That is such an elitist point of view coming from someone who wants to stay in power.

Why would FSC do that when there are episodes of "FC Fox" and women's college soccer games to show?


Who would possibly want to watch EPL and Carling Cup pre-game and post-game presentations instead of the scintillating programming mentioned above?

Does this mean that FSC will show more than 18 hours of legitimate soccer programming per week on its channel? Because once you get past the four EPL games (eight hours), Fox World Report (one hour per night), the Argentine League game and "Dream Team," there's nothing but shite now on this network.

Not only has international football lost some of its appeal, but the Champions League is losing its allure for me, too, for two reasons.


One, I hate the two-legged format. It encourages the away team to play for a 1-1 draw in the first leg, getting that vital away goal.



Two, the way the seeding is done for the groups is pathetic, as is the proviso that teams from the same association can't play each other until the Round of 16.



Can you imagine the NCAA men's basketball tournament if two ACC or Big East teams couldn't play each other until the Sweet 16? Ludicrous, just like



The Champions League would be much more exciting with a knockout format like the FA Cup and with better seeding and no matchup restrictions after the group stages.



I guess I'm in the minority: I much prefer the real drama and rivalries created by domestic league competition over the dull competition of the Champions League, Liverpool's march to the title two years ago notwithstanding.



It says something about the Champions League that teams are seemingly just as excited to qualify for it, due to the huge financial windfall, as actually competing for the title.

Realmente alla no hay DISCRIMINACION,hay sus distinciones aqui y alla, como que unos padres no quieran que su hija/o se casen con un morenito o alquien con pelo muy crespo/chicharron y tonterias de esas...O "mija ese no tiene plata, mejor buscate a alguien con un mejor carro o que aparente tener plata"...Pero eso no es discriminacion,no creo que sepas por experiencia lo que es discriminacion, aqui solo por tener un tipo latino ya te dicen mejicano, por tener el pelo muy crespo ya te dicen negro aunque tu piel sea blanca (o Brown como ellos dicen aunque tu no te veas brown). Que cuando vas a buscar trabajo escogen al blanquito que no tiene experincia sobre el negro que a lo mejor tiene 10 años trabajando en lo mismo y sabe lo que hay que hacer..O que te paguen menos por ser negro y a lo mejor a tu compañero que hace lo mismo que tu le dan un mejor aumento solo porque es funny y blanquito! En Venezuela lo que prevalece es la ley del mas vivo, el que sea capaz de pasarse a todo el mundo por .....alli mismo y salirse con la suya metiendote el pie para que te caigas,o a cuenta de lo que sea. Eso no lo extraño para nada de Venezuela.
Si creo que antes estabamos mejor, por lo menos habia vida que vivir, sabias que si estudiabas y trabajabas duro tenias un futuro a la vuelta de la esquina. Ahora que puedes decir sobre eso,si los jovenes consiguen como estudiar, esperando años por un cupo en la universidad, pagando un tecnologico barato a duras penas y trabajando como un condenado, o simplemente saliendo directo de bachillerato a trabajar porque se necesita que contribuyas a la casa porque papa perdio su trabajo y ahora solo da tiritos por ahi...Y sabes que despues de todo este sacrificio que tu y tu familia estan haciendo, sabes que no se va a llegar ni a la esquina porque no hay futuro en Venezuela,porque el regimen no te lo permite, porque lamentablemente todas las buenas compañias y los profecionales se estan hiendo porque hace unos años tuvieron vision de todo lo que se le venia a Venezuela encima. Yo adoro la Venezuela en la que yo naci,por donde yo salia a caminar con mis abuelos y comentabamos sobre las flores que veiamos en los jardines de las casas,la gente que paseaba a su perro o las mamas con sus niños que iban a la panaderia..Ahora la gente que camina por la calle lo hace por necesidad, eso de salir a caminar solo por pasear se acabo, ya ni los jardines se ven porque las casas tienen un muro gigante donde no se ven aquellos bonitos jardines ni flores, ni gente..Y a las mamas con sus niños y perros ni se atreven a pasear poque o le roban el perro o al niño. Cuando voy a mi pais me da mucha tristeza porque me doy cuenta de que esa ya no es mi adorada Venezuela..
