Good post Steph! I love that you're an old-school Sonics fan, since I was a few hundred miles south of you, growing up a Trail Blazers fan in the early 90's.

My best autograph story is from when I was in the 5th grade. My friends and I all had big crushes on Jonathan Taylor Thomas, from Home Improvement and Lion King's young Simba voice fame. JTT made an appearance at our local mall and I begged my mom to go. I waited in line for 2 1/2 hours with hundreds of other girls to get his autograph. I didn't get a picture, but I did get a hug from JTT. Safe to say, it was the highlight of my life as a 10-year-old.

In a golf related story, years later a friend took me to the Fred Meyer Challenge in Portland for my 17th birthday. Since it was my bday present, I insisted we follow Sergio Garcia (then an adorable 20-year-old) the whole day. When he stepped off the 18th green, I approached him and asked for his autograph for my birthday. I got a hug then too, as well as "happy birthday" wishes. Best birthday ever :) Somehow I don't think Sergio remembers that story as well as I do, but maybe someday I'll get to tell it to him.

Congrats Jake (and Sean)! Looking forward to following along with the Ant Evolution this year and picking your brain a time or two. Will you be working together remotely with presences in both Seattle and Dallas? I will be near one or both of those cities a few times this year. Best of luck to you both!
