When do the tatami mats come in? :-)

The tatami mats were not in stock -- they'll come in early February. I got the rest of my thing from OrientalFurniture.com yesterday though & they are still giving me free shipping for the mats.

in Is your mother allowed to be your facebook friend? on Omar Eduardo's Blog
If you let her be your Facebook friend, I highly recommend choosing the option wherein she's only allowed to view your limited profile. I.e. no wall posts, etc.

Yeah, I actually don't know where that option is right now. I was looking for it under 'privacy' but can't really find it.

New Apple store!??! I didn't know about it.
I haven't been by the Holocaust Memorial, but did go to Dachau when I was in Germany a few years ago. I felt chills too... I hadn't read that much about the concentration camps, but when I was in Dachau, the sheer size of the camp (of which the memorial was only a fraction) just got to me. And all the little signs that read things like "remember how we perished here" were so chilling as well.

The Apple store is huge (three stories) and is a very nice building. Right there in front of Prudential. I visited it today again.
And yes, I really think that the Holocaust Memorial made me think a lot more about the terrible events that happened... the quotes on the glass walls of the memorial I visited are still stuck in my head.
