i've always hated neitzel. with a passion. but it's nice to see him give us some props. although i hate our rivals, the big 10 should stick together. we can hate each other, and respect the efforts of each other at the same time. with the exception of OSU. i will never give them any respect. sorry.

not to harp on this point, but it's just that i've never thought about this. i really agree that it is kind of ridiculous to name a freshman to the preseason first team. theres nothing wrong with hype or predictions, but preseason rankings should be based on prior experience and performances at the college level. like i said, i've never thought of it that way, but i like the phrase Big A used, "they first need to earn it at this level."

ben allen is one of my favorite players. i remember the indiana state game a few years ago where he was the only one who seemed to care. if his leaving is a definite, i will be very sorry to see him go. that would mean 2 of my favorites - the other being joey shaw, will have transfered in 1 year. but i don't see where he'll find a whole lot of playing time, even if he is playing at a very high level. i wish him the best no matter where he goes.

i've always been on comcast's side, just because i like their argument more. maybe it's just time thats done this, but ever since i saw the home and garden or the food network angle, i am starting to see the BTN's side. no one watches H&G. not even my aunt who does nothing but work in her garden. the BTN would have a larger viewer base hands down. this whole situation is getting kind of dumb though. posing as big ten fans? come on comcast, i think it was clear you had the edge, and now you want to sink yourself on something as dumb as that? get real.
