The top 0.1% of taxpayers by income pay 17.4% of all federal taxes (earning 9.1% of the income),

The top 1% pay 36.9% (earning 19%), the top 5% pay 57.1% (earning 33.4%)

The bottom 50% pay 3.3% (earning 13.4%).

Considering that the bottom 50% only pay 3.3% of taxes are you really worried about how the poor are getting a raw deal in America? The numbers say you're wrong. Or do you argue that these numbers are fabricated?

How about a gold backed dollar to prevent inflation which would get the stupid amounts of money out of real estate and into stocks also leading to deflation making housing prices affordable even if we allow massive imigration which would solve the outsourcing problem and increase the tax base sufficiently to allow lower taxes.

You could use underwater radar (fish finder) which would sense animals approaching and temporarily stop the rotor if a whale was approaching.

I'm still waiting for Toshiba's nano battery that was supposed to come out in 2006.

We need nuclear generators and good batteries in the short run. With solar, wind, etc. replacing nuclear as it improves efficiency.

My guess is that any alternative fuel delivered by big diesel tanker trucks is simply a way to subsidize inefficient farms.
