Thanks so much for the great comments!! :) I do try my hardest and hopefully my small example can spread to the readers of my blog!

Re: BlackNotes

This man has the absolute best job in the entire world. In one insert he was able to drive in a carchase through a shopping centre and then assault a beach (beach assault) in a ford. unbelievable. lucky bastard.

Re: On my way to South Africa

Zadi - don't stress too much. I'm going to be on the trip with you the whole way also feeling socially inept! But never fear, south africans love to socialise, drink good wines and eat stunning food. I'm sure that will settle the nerves!

Re: South Africa wins the Rugby World Cup 2007

Hey Vinny,

Sounds like a party! I'd love it if you could email me a few photos for SA Rocks or upload them to the SA Rocks photo pool.

Thanks!! :)

Re: What you need to know to return home to South Africa

Sounds like a fantastic initiative, on my way to the site right now to check it out. I think it is a great big advert. If Seth is as uninterested in the awards as he says then why bother? Why force your readers to vote? Why threaten them by saying he wont blog if they don't vote? Shame, if the awards mean so much to Seth he should start his own and leave Jon Cherry alone.

Re: The end of the SA Blog Awards?

I have personally never enjoyed Seth's site (not blog). I think that my post was badly expressed.

I think that what I agree with is the fact that South Africans are more worried about breaking the law now.

If I know that breaking the law means that I go to jail I wont break the law. Currently I firmly believe that South Africans are great finger pointers but never at ourselves.

We all think that it's OK to go through a red robot after 10pm, it's not. Stopping at a stop street is a requirement not and option. This sort of law breaking transends in to the rest of our everyday life.

But obviously the metro police need to do things in the right way, they themselves cannot run a lawless law (if you get me) and expect us to abide.

Re: What support for Metro bullies equates to

I see you point, and I agree with what you are saying. Much much much better than the last one. so much better... but...what happened to SA Rocks link?!?!?!?

Re: Desperate measures?

I think you've lost it!!!!

Re: Dear Justin - I think you’re doing it wrong

So Wogan - You'd rather have Justin and everyone else who's been robbed by SAA keep their mouths shut so that other's (foreigners and tourists) can come here and experience the same thing and leave SA with a bitter taste in their mouths thanks to an airline with ties to a government that can't get it's ducks in a row!

I'd rather us make a noise now, get the problem fixed or have tourists fly another airline (of which there are plenty flying in to SA). I might be the SA Rocks pundit but forget it if I'm going to blindly support a company because it might look bad if we expose their rubbish.

Re: Dear Justin - I think you’re doing it wrong

Agree with Justin's approach and in actual fact it seems as though Wogan and Justin are saying the same thing. That if this site provides a constructive answer and real issues that SAA takes SERIOUSLY then this site will be a success. Simple. It's now in SAA's hands to do the right thing. Simple. Let's have them step up in to the 21st Century and take our criticisms head on. Not shy away and try and slap a law suit on us and shut us up.

Re: My Cartoon Inspired An IEC Toast

Brilliant.
