Maybe you could label yourself as what you are: a closeted gay man, incapable of loving the way he loves and living in fear. God set you free form nothjing, your chose barrten, loveless life and didicated your l9fe to oppressing and defaming people like you.
And did your fake dream also include the ending the messages of hatred and constant vomiting of lies coming from Christian right and your employers? Most likely not?
People who have been oppressed, been targeted with such hate as we are do get angry. BVut not even that is allowed because you fascists want us to go underground in hiding. That old lady chose to come gloating to people who were hurting, she chose to rub in the insult... but then that is what you christianists do, Nothing is enough fpr you when it comes to hurting people.

Closet Never lived in one. Wouldn't know how too. I certainly don't live in fear. You try going in front of churches and the mainstream media and explain how you used to sleep with men and now don't because of your faith in Christ.
Not exactly an easy thing to be "out" about but I do it.
God The Holy Spirit isn't named Hugo and right now I am pretty glad about that. Interesting you feel the authority to speak to the reality of my life and spiritual life.
Lies ... and we don't tell lies. Others spin and lies get told about us but ... I am pretty sure I wouldn't convince you of that.
Hate ... kind of like what you exhibit toward me? I don't want you to hide or go underground ... never have. I don't know anyone who does except the Fred Phelps people and I don't really know them. Gay people hating me, Gay people liking me, Gay people thinking I am a liar ... it's all interesting but my world, and the truth of it, doesn't rest on gay people accepting or even tolerating who I am or what I believe. I didn't come to the beliefs I have and personal life goals because of what you all might think.
I don't exist to not be you. I don't even promote what I believe because of you. That's why I reject the term "ex-gay" as my primary identity.
Old Lady "Christianists" if you are trying to make her into the poster woman for "fascism" you just go ahead and keep that up. Any reasonable person, whether they identify as gay or not, would look at that hyperbolic comparison and think it a really ignorant thing to say. Now, if she had marched in with 20,000 brown shirted clones and drove you into gas chambers ... then you might have some credibility. But an old lady with a huge cross with flowers on it wading into the middle of a crowd hell bent on destroying her message, shouting her down, spitting on and shaming her. They stigmatized, silenced the media and ran her off. Even with all that shameful behavior I would call it thuggery and mob mentality ... not fascism.
In fact you don't even see the rabid Phelps clan doing that to gay people. They spit at my feet though.
Not sure what your last sentence is supposed to really mean but ... it is obvious that you don't know much about me. I may not approve all your comments but you are more than welcome to hang around and keep trying to submit them. I read them all even if I don't approve them or respond. Plus, I always encourage people to start their own blogs. It's a great way to "get it out of your system."

So you think that court rulings in cases like Brown vs. Education or Loving vs. Virginia were wrong? That it is wrong to seek ones equal rights through courts? Well, it most certainly is in line with your other actions of hatred.
You aligned yourself with the most vicious anti-gay propagandists on the face of earth. You joined people who pary for the demise and destruction of our lives. With people like Dobson who mere five years ago campaigned ferociously for jailing gays for being gay. Do you still believe that opverturning sodomy statutes were wrong and would you be willing to jail all the gays living in Texas to a huge concentration camps? Your friends werre in facvor of them and opposed gays seeking justice and equal rights through courts... how about you?
Do you dispapprove that gays dare to stand up for their rights? You say that you "feel for gays" whose lives and relationships you have spat on, about whom you have lied and slandered for years. You. a "man" who advocates for stripping our rights and who is paid by the most vicious anti-gay hate group, Focus on The Family?
We gays are truly the niggers of todays America. Thousands of Christians prayed in san Diego so that we would be hurt as much as possible. Christian and mormon acrvists hurl insults and spread vicious lies that seek to defame us, to make us look dangerous, to make people despise us... there is no limit what people like you are willing to do in order to hurt us.

I bolded the part where I think you are the pot calling the kettle black. Your whole comment is a degrading personal attack filled with lies meant to shock and defame myself and people of similar beliefs. You have bought the lie that Christians want to make you hurt and then turn around and say you would be rejoicing over my destruction.
You don't do yourself or your cause any favors acting like this and believing the absolute worst about your opponent. Assuming the negative only empowers those seeking to benefit off of stoking and inflaming your rage.
I never rejoice over others pain. I am being honest about that. If I ever do get "devoured" it won't be because of my hate ... I don't hate you. Also, if destruction does come my way I will be praying for your soul to be blessed with an awareness of God's love and redemption as I fall.
I know a lot of Christians and a few of the Mormons in California and not a single one of them did this to cause *you* pain. If you can't wrap your head around that then you truly have no clue as to how your opponent thinks.

and as for the lie that I work for Dr. Dobson ... I wish Focus on the Family signed my paycheck ... maybe I'd get a raise then.
But, I am actually glad that my salary doesn't come from them. I love their ministry but it is different than what we do at Exodus. What I do from 9-5 is deal with issues of equipping the church with the redemptive message Exodus brings. I help with our Professional Counselors, Member Ministries and Member Churches. We have 210 Member agencies that I and a decent sized staff oversee/serve. We are appointed to serve those three networks and their needs.
Plus, I am involved in a myriad of other things done at Exodus that I know Focus On the Family appreciates but is not called to do.
Again, we do have moments of public policy involvement, and I talk about it here on my personal blog but my *job* might focus on public policy 1-3% of my overall attention. Again, there are moments and those who hate us latch on to that and use it to generate lies and mischaracterize us.

How sanctimonious can you get? TYopu claim to feel "sorry" for people you sought to hurt, who youintnetionally sought to defame in the most deep way by ridiculing and deprecating their love, life and relationships.

I knew some wouldn't understand and I am truly apologetic if I came off sanctimonious. That is not how I want to be.
You quoted me as saying "sorry" twice. I didn't say that in the original post and can't remember when I said it that way. Please show me where I said that and I will be glad to clarify in hopes to not sound so sanctimonious.
Plus, I don't think I have ever "ridiculed" or "deprecated" their love, life or relationships. I used to live, love and have gay relationships. I know the investment, dreams and hopes. Now that I have different moral views and completely different life goals. I do try to be honest in saying what they are but I would never do so in a ridiculing manner. At the same time, I can't prevent others seeing moral disagreements in such light even though I do try to afford dignity and respect wherever possible when I talk about those opposing views.

I've got an idea, though. How about you read some of Randy's posts that have nothing to do with gay issues. How about you try to get to know the real Randy, the real person, instead of viewing him as a symbol to direct all of your anger at. Somehow, I don't think you'll take my suggestion.
