This whole post can be translated to your other post on leadmarketwatch about being an affiliate. Discovering your niche as an affiliate is often the hardest thing for someone to do when first starting out in affiliate marketing. I blew though a ton of money before I found my niches...

in Yahoo Inks Mobile Advertising Deals in 18 Countries; Intel, Pepsi Sign-on on Marketing Pilgrim
I love Yahoo. They are the underdog in this search battle and who can't love 'em for that? I think they are doing lots of things right and aren't getting any love for it -- this is just one example. I think another is their support for RightMedia. That said, I'd just be really curious to see how the mobile ads work and if the major advertisors stick around. In any case, three cheers for Yahoo!

I still think you are looking at it incorrectly. There is so much rubbish out there when it comes to SEO -- one of those things is black hat vs. white hat. Somewhere black hat got equated with bad/evil practices and white hat as noble do-gooders. That's crap. SEO is an art with a little bit of science to it. If it was pure science then everyone would be doing it. Do what works for you and if it mucks up, then learn from that lesson and try it again.

Why do you think this is a mistake? Ultimately, it's how you implement it and utilize the traffic is where it becomes grey. Hurry up and make sure the link ranks for something in the natural rankings and make some money from it. BTW, the PR you see in the G toolbar isn't real anyway... just a reason for you to download their toolbar. At the end of the day it's all about traffic -- if you don't have it, you might as well go home.

in Can A Link Redirect Acquire PR? on Sage Blogger
Welcome to a black hat method of getting anything to rank. If you were to have a bunch of one way, relevant links going to that page (which happens to have tons of keywords on it) and then redirect it, you can rank for any phrase you want. Just think all about your anchor text...
