it would be good to note that:
the majority of United's 1st teamers that played were returning from injury (ronaldo) or suspension (vida)
it is also a credit to saf that we could leave out so many players, and uninformed poeple can still think we are playing an A team. he does a great job building a strong squad and also rotating to keep everyone satisfied.
still, it cannot be ignored that
1. welbeck debut
2. possebon debut
3. rafael debut (i dont think he was involved in any comp matches yet)
4. ben amos debut
5. manucho debut and 1st game after injury
did i miss anyone?

news for all who like these.
hes releasing part 3 in a few days.
i dont know about you guys, but im ecstatic. ive been watching these videos over and over and over.
if ihabx7 read this: thanks for making these. absolutely brilliant.
the only problem is you've pretty much spoiled my appreciation of every other comp out there. none are close to as good as these.

in Fernando Torres Top 10 Goals on Footytube.com
As a United fan, I have to say that Torres is brilliant.
He uses his speed, height, and leg length very effectively. He can get many touches across the width of his body as well as being able to wrap his foot around the ball even on long touches. It gives him a distinct advantage over most defenders. Hes a great finisher. He does have a thing for the flop. And, he lives in Ferdinand's back pocket, but regardless hes still quite a classy player.
Hes already a pool hero, and im pretty sure he'll be a legend in the next 5 years.
Now, if he had a decent team around him, he could easily be a 40 goal player consistently. Right now, hes just got Gerrard and Mash.
Perfect striker = Rooney + Torres
Rooney has a great creative side, good passing game, determination, strength, defensive work, and he creates a ridiculous amount of chances for himself.
Torres has the finishing ability. Hes got the hieght, speed, and quickness, combined with accuracy.
put them together and the player would make even derby a top 4 team.
but, most importantly, torres needs to cut his hair. it used to be short, ronaldo-ish, and it was pretty cool, like during the WC i think. now, he looks like a girl. wearing headband=lame.
besides the goal he did nothing. if you look at the videos of ronaldo's touches during the game he dribbles himself into a corner then passes it backwards. all he did was whine when he was tackled by joe cole and essien. essien was a ***** in the first half and that is why he got the goal and why he was able to do anything in the first half. second half he was non existent. I dont know how he got the man of the match when he almost ruined man u's chances of winning. the only reason he got it was because they won. lampard was much more valuble for chelsea than ronaldo for man u. Ronaldo should give his award to van der sar because without him ronaldo would have been considered the worst player of the match and he would no longer be seen as the best player in the world.
hahahahahahahahhahahaha!!!!
thats freaking hilarious. what the **** did messi do then, to supposedly cement himself as 'best player in the world' and 'so much better than ronaldo'
he dribbled into walls of defenders. he lost the ball. he didnt even score. nor did he get an assist. and he didnt win.
in comparison to what ronaldo did, than messi's 'amazing' performance against united was absolute **** and he should go play in league 1.
you biased idiots cannot honestly find a way to knock ronaldo off his deserved spot as best player in the world without putting on blindfolds and using fluctuating criteria as your standard.
if you want to talk about whining, watch joe cole, and probably the rest of the chelsea team as well.
FIRST OF ALL, i'm neither a fan of both sides.
It's really funny to see MU fans saying luck were on Chelsea's side when the blues had 3 shots which hit the post (including JT's).
well, i agree that Lampard's goal was a real lucky one because it went through several deflections before the ball came down to him.
and also, MU fans repeating "MU should have gone 3-0 in the 1st half."
THAT IS RIDICULOUS!
they DONT deserved to be 3-0 up because it was the players who didnt convert the chances to goals.
Lady Luck was really on MU's side that night, no doubt. So many decisions went against Chelsea. (corners, if you had watched the match).
and MU fans, be grateful that Ferdinand didnt got a red card for raising his boots to JC's face.
most MU fans here are so blinded by biasness that they cant tell what is right and wrong.
so, united were lucky because chelsea didnt convert their chances that they got through luck, but chelsea arent lucky because united didnt convert their chances that they got through skill. its got to go both ways. so, THAT isnt ridiculous, YOU are ridiculous. and you call us biased?
Look what luck brings Man-U. As always...Man-u played decent only in the first half. Rooney and CR were sh*t.
I am not a Chelsea fan but they deserved to win without any doubt. Furthermore, I never believed in a game that ends with penalty kicks. I am sure so many people agree with me.
seriously moe? youve had some pretty stupid posts, but this goes up at the top of them.
Ronaldo was the best player on the pitch. If you need reminding of what he did, there are a few youtube vids of all his touches during the game. basically everthing he did turned to gold. rooney had some freaking amazing passes. shouldve had an assist.
the luck was with chelsea, taking a shot from 30 yards at a standstill and bouncing it off a post is pretty lucky. lampard was in ET so that never should have occured. United should have been 3-0 up in the first half. 2 for tevez and ronaldo's. ballack was lucky not to get a call when he ran through ferdinand's back to create their one decent chance. lampards goal was **** lucky and you cant call it anything but. 3 deflection and VDS slips on the way out. a slip gave them a chance, and a slip took it away. chelsea had more shots, but they also had practically 0 penetration. everything was from 25 yards out. i dont call that domination.
the pks were a lottery, but the deserving side came out on top.

gotta disagree. ronaldo was the best the whole game long. everything he touched turned to gold. except for the pk of course.
but seriously, he was brilliant. he was by FAR the best player of the game, and the tournament, and basically in the whole world.

I have to say that chelsea were very lucky to even make it to extra time.
Lampard's goal was lucky for 2 reasons: 1. deflections dropped it off Ferdinand's back (which isnt a mistake but really just luck)2 the finish would probably have been saved by VDS if he hadn't slipped on the pitch while coming out. It wasn't an unstopable strike by any means.

Ronaldo is talented no argument, but he brings shame over and over again to the wonderful game that is soccer.:((
that wasnt it. the penalties were a coin toss really. however, the better team won in the end. we dominated more of the game, played better ball, created the best chances, and did more with our luck. (you cant say lampard's goal was anything but luck)
ronaldo's first and only ever goal came at the best time. but he is not the greatest player, he merely just had a great season. one great season cant define a player as the greatest player in the world. united got lucky, chelsea hits the bar 3 times (terry) and got drogba sent off. tevez is a fcuking ****** for what he did to provoke chelsea. if i was the referee, which i am not by standards, i would have either given 2 players red cards, 2 players yellow cards, or given nobody any cards; it it just unfair to give one team an advantage by sending another player off. i forgot who it was (either vidic or ferdinand), but they should have gotten a straight red for going studs up to joe cole's face in extra time. and the supposedly "best player in the world" missed a pk, which just made my day.
to start: 'first and only ever goal.' its his 42nd this season alone, right? id hardly say his 'first'
and it wasnt 1 season. it is 2 consecutive and improving the whole time. hes been best in the world this season, and imo, he was last season too. but thats another matter. he IS best in the world, not best ever.
as for being lucky: united should just the same have been 3-0 up at the half time. lampard's goal was ridiculously lucky. and that means terry's doesnt even come into play, because united already won 3-2.
tevez didnt slap anyone. Drogba deserved a red. tevez did deserve a yellow, but no more.
you can have your day. the best team in the world just won, and the best player in the world scored, so ill have mine

in C. Ronaldo - The Proof (Part 2) on Footytube.com
im excited for the rest of this series.
fyi: if you guys didnt already know, both of the proof vids are done by the same guy, and i think hes going to do more. if you really like these, go to soccerpulse, join the forum, go to the compilations, and search for proof. hes got both available for download. use rapidshare or something like that, and when the page comes up use the 'free' option. its slower, but you can get this in wmv at home. on the first vid, the one i loaded first time just downloaded a web page link. if that happens, just follow the link. it takes you to another download, which will work exactly like the first, except it will actually have the wmv download.
i thought you might want to know. you can use the same process to to download most compilations. a lot of the best ones show up here on footytube in a streamable manner, which is good. however, having it downloaded is nice, you can put it on a flash drive and show friends, or whatever.
i thought there might be some people who would be interested on getting these downloaded.
