My room mate (at home.. not on the road) likes Dreamhost and definitely has upgrades available before I do and says they are very active about keeping their users in the know when problems do arise.
Just my 2 cents.
Rachel

Re: Regarding The Recent Spam

Thank you.

Re: Updated presentation for Path 101

Couple comments... the Jing version was too fast. Excellent! I had a pear and spinach salad, Tin Angel martini (made with lemoncillo) and shared a tiramisu with a friend. Everything about the meal was superb! The atmosphere is quaint with live music on a regular basis. However, since there are only about 8 tables in the restaurant make sure to make a reservation, even during the week.

Re: 2008 Upcoming Vacation: Squamish, BC

Kevn,
Thanks so much for the feedback.
Rach

Re: LCC Season, Please Come Back

Hey Triz. Thanks for your comment. I should have phrased that differently. I actually love being by myself and being single. I think I had just forgotten that the dating scene is tricky. It is easier to be single because I am completely happy by myself and when I date it just adds in all this confusion and I just can't figure out what these boys are doing. Odd.

Re: Risking it all on Sundance

"The rock will always be there. The one about the LHC is simply hilarious and the yoga one made me realize (again!) my lack of flexibility. I seriously am going to stretch after writing this comment.

Re: Rocks and Water at the Palace

That cairn in the river is amazing!

And this line..."Ok, so, I like cracks and slabs!" .... whew, I WISH I loved cracks and slabs! Next time you are in SLC let me know. If I am in town, you are definitely welcome at my place. And if I am not in town, I know I have some friends who could give you a place. Just an option if you ever need it....
Hope you are well!
Rach

Re: Yoga for Rock Climbers

Wow... we are on the same brain waves as I have been thinking about yoga quite a bit lately.

Unlike yourself, I am just getting into yoga. I had tried it previously, but didn't really care for it. However, I have been bouldering the past 6 weeks and keep getting a handful of injuries. I decided to swing by a yoga studio one rest day and feel like it has really helped limit the injuries.

Thanks for the great post.
Rachel

Re: We're Hiring

I currently work for a regionally focused venture capital firm and have always been impressed with USV as your team is on the cutting edge of web2.0. I love that your site is a blog and thought it was great when you found a replacement for Charlie through a post. I also enjoy following many of your investments: wesabe (checked out and have suggest to people though I currently use mvelopes, a local Utah company), twitter (use), tumblr (in the process), adaptiveblue (use), oddcast (checked out many times), Etsy (checked out many times), etc.

Rachel Strate

rstrate27@gmail.com

Tech/VC blog: www.wasatchgirl.com (previously wasatchgirl.blogspot.com)

Personal blog: www.cragbaby.com (previously cragbaby.blogspot.com)

LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/wasatchgirl
Myspace: www.myspace.com/climbing_utah
Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=517972825

Twitter: http://twitter.com/WasatchGirl

Delicious: http://del.icio.us/WasatchGirl

Lastfm: http://www.last.fm/user/WasatchGirl/

Tumblr (still working on as it wasn't pulling on my blog correctly.
