Hmmm, I'm not sure which side to choose. You could also say they finally got kerning right, no? What are the chances that an arbitrary point size on a font with arbitrary kerning, scaling to an arbitrary dpi screen, results in exactly a one pixel offset? And if you round it for rendering, then your characters are snapping to the nearest pixel, breaking kerning. The second line looks snazzy on 1920x1200, just the 'l' is a bit shimmerish.

Purtroppo, nonostante abbia applicato con grande attenzione la guida, non ho ottenuto niente sullo schermo in grado di stimolare il mio "eminentemente muscolare e mobilissimo" organo... (cit. Wikipedia)

Sarà forse che uso Jaunty in Virtualbox a 1152x864... non so. Comunque il problema c'è solo con FF 3.5.

I'm just saying that getting the gold and burying in the back yard does not work because you will be on their list when you buy it to start with.

Gordon_Gekko That's what cash-only black markets are for. They develop - and they WILL, trust me - when oppressive governments interfere too much in the free markets and become overtly exploitative - as has been the case in Asia for a long time. It is an alien concept in the western world, but Asians have survived and protected their wealth for generations using PM's - ever been to the bazaars of Asia? Now you know why Asians are such fans of the yellow metal.

Gordon_Gekko Is what Goldman doing legal? They want you to obey "laws" - which they created in the first place to enslave you - but they are beyond any law. The government is not your friend - it is a bunch of crooks at this point who are out to pillage you. Under these circumstances, you have to do the best you can and try to protect yourself from them any way you can. The only rule is that there are none. Welcome to the third world.

ottnott You don't have to report physical metals in your possession. You need to report any capital gains when/if you sell them.

Offhand, I'd say that it isn't a good idea to take advice from someone suggesting that you defraud credit card issuers.

I had to make a small change to client.authorize so I could call with required parameters, third parm {:oauth_verifier => pin, :oauth_callback => "oob"}) to get the pin that Twitter gives on their web site when you authorize.

I'm dying for wireless carrier competitions to drive cell phone plan price DOWN! I'm so sick of Rogers' 3 year contract and system access fees. Believe me, if Yak (or any other newcomer) can offer combined VOICE and 5Gb DATA plan for $25/month; the newcomer can take out a very big portion of smart phone market share. I am waiting, hopefully this will happen within next 6 months...
