All hands went up vs. much fewer who were on Facebook and MySpace. No doubt there is value there.

Re: Pixelotto Is Alive - Will You Win The Million?

Jim,

I wish I shared your enthusiasm. It's obviously a clever idea, just like Million Dollar Homepage, but I have to imagine the conversion rates on click-thrus is miserable. They only big winner is the site owner.

You can argue brand awareness, I guess, but among all that clutter, what good is an advertiser gaining. I know I can't name one advertiser from his first endeavor, and I doubt I'll be able to name one on this when all is said and done.

I'll be watching closely.

- Joel

Re: Cleveland Internet & Marketing Gurus Know How To Deliver The Goods

Thanks for the kudos, Jim. Stories such as the ones you've outlined go largely unnoticed by The Plain Dealer, Crain's, Inside Business and the like, but are surprisingly frequent from what I can tell. There is a very vibrant underworld of creative people and businesses here in NEO that deserve to be recognized. Who knows? Low opinions of our fine city just might improve if they were.

Re: Jim Kukral Is Now Available For Online Marketing Consulting Gigs In Cleveland & Beyond

Good luck, man.

Re: Don’t Piss Off The Blogger!

Nice ... don't piss of the SEO either.

Re: How Does YouTube Rank Videos For Organic Search?

Backlinks and imbeds.

Re: I’m A Cleveland Browns Fan, Pity Me

I feel you, Dawg.

Re: It’s Official, Google Killed TextLinkAds As We Know It?

Jim ...
