in 100 Resources for Thesis Wordpress Theme Users on Matt Flies - Blog
I'm going to pull my hair out. I found instructions for using a different background image at the top of my page from the one at the bottom. The code -- CSS 3.0 -- seemed simple enough:
url (location of top image), url(location of bottom image);
background-position: top right, bottom left;
no repeat twice with comma between as above
Added it to my custom stylesheet, thereby replacing my old background image. Refreshed the page. Looked great!! In CHROME.
However, my new background images do not show up in Flock or Firefox. I have tried everything for the past more-hours-than-I-care-to-admit. NOTHING.
I've tried using the after and before html hooks, as well as the after footer which works but places the image far down the page rather than next to the footer where I want it. And I can't figure out how to adjust the padding to stop that from happening.
MATT, I'M DESPERATE. Can you assist me?
Thanks so much in advance.

in The Bible and tithing: To give or not to give - Part 1 on Bible Money Matters
Thanks so much for contributing this post to The Seventh Day: Ninth Edition blog carnival at On the Horizon! The Carnival will be live tomorrow, February 24, 2008! Stop by and check out the other excellent submissions!
The discussion is "academic" for me in the sense that I have no longer participate in or am affiliated with organized religion. However, the Biblical principles remain relevant since, as a person outside the patriarchal church, I still have an obligation to "give back."
I will be very interested to read the next installment(s).

Hello:
Greetings from Northern California. I must tell you something. "Frisco" is a term never used to describe our beautiful City by the Bay. Ever. It is considered a pejorative term.
Glad you had a great time as a first-time visitor and hope you will return and see more of Northern California!! You've only seen the proverbial tip of the iceberg. :-)

in the truth about Jehovah’s Witness, part 3 on BibleDude.net
The hypocrisy is magnified when you discover how many of the JW's WORK for the government on every level. They are happy to "feed from the public trough," reaping health care and pension benefits, just to name a few. But then won't serve in the military to defend the privileges that they enjoy on a daily basis. Indeed, they live off the taxpayers who send THEIR sons and daughters to die for America.
Can you tell that it makes my blood boil?

What you are trying to accomplish could be more easily done if you switch your Thesis site to the fullwidth framework. You could then edit the header and footer separately and insert the two images.
